New Pictures on my profile

I have new pictures on my profile from this weekend (my dh's 20th HS reunion). I got into a size 12P dress! I haven't seen that size since college. On a more important note - I found out why my weight loss has been going so fast (too fast) and why I've been having dizzy spells and heart palpatations. I've had hypothyroidism since I was 17 (I'm now 34) but apparently as I've been losing weight, my body has needed less thyroid hormone (so I've been HYPERthyroid) which has caused me to lose really fast, which caused my body to need LESS thyroid, etc.. and around we go. So, my endrocronologist lowered my dose dramatically and I'll be getting my levels checked regularly until I'm done losing weight. I'm actually looking forward to a slow down in the weight loss so I can wrap my head around it. I know that person in the pictures looks good, but I don't know who the hell she is. Thank you. It is a relief knowing. I already feel better. This week I "only" lost 1.2 lbs and was so happy! It felt so much more normal.

Hi Carolyn- Wow great pictures. You look great!! That is scary about your thyroid. That is good that it is being taken care of now. I have been having to adjust my diabetes meds. Pretty soon I won't have to take them at all. Michelle in SoCal

Good Luck on getting off those meds! God, I hate taking pills now! I used to swallow a handful in one gulp, now it's like 2 full meals to get the morning and night time pills in!

Great pics Carolyn. It must feel great to get into a 12P! I too, am glad you found out what the dizziness is. I still get dizzy in bed, but don't have thyroid issues....the quest continues. Lori
