Hi all, I am 49years old and I had my RNY on June 21st. I read everyone's notes all the time. The day of my surgery I weighed in at 283, I now weighs 245. I hope this is a normal pace for loosing weight. I am working out 3 times a week now so I hope to see more of the weight drop off. I don't eat much during the day just a couple of bites here and there. But I do take my vitamins faithfully.

If you want to try an interesting way to chart your weight/inches loss try this site : http://www.thinnerself.com/files/Expect_Chart-Inches-BP-52.htm After you fill out the information and click on the "Create Report" button it will show you where you fall on the "Fast/Average/Slow Weight loss" scale. Welcome Peggy! Make sure you are getting all your protein in and water also (as well as vitamins). It will really help you lose. Good luck!

First let me say congrats on your weight loss your doing GREAT! I had surgery just 1 week before you did and I just wanted to let you in on something I have learned, there is not a normal weight loss pace! Everyone is different and everyone will loss weight at different pace! Don't compare yourself with others (it will driver you crazy) believe me I know! Just keep up the good work and before you know it you will hit your goal.

thanks, that reasuring because i get on the scales practically everyday and I know that's not good. I will keep the faith.
