allergy/hayfever meds

Are any of taking hayfever/allergy meds? What are you taking and in what form? My allergies are back! I figured I'd just take one of my Zyrtec D, right? I crushed it, popped it in my mouth and had a gag attack. Clearly, judging from the bitterness, those meds aren't meant to be crush. I had never tasted anything so vile. So, before I go to my allergists, I wanted to have a few suggestions for meds that come chewable (preferably) orliquids. I did use my Rhinocort nasal spray which helped some but it has never worked that great for me. Thanks, peeps!

Hi Karen, Yes it is that dreadful time of year again! I go to my pcp and get a shot,I have done this for years.They work great! You may want to inquire about it.They don't hurt and is very convienent than taking OTC meds. A'Chewwwwwwwww!!!! LOL...I could not resist that one!'K bad joke.......... ((hugs)) Nanc

What form? And if you cru**** how bad does it taste? I can't crush the Zyrtec - too bitter.

Pill form.. I dont need to cru**** works fine without doing so!!
