Are any of you still tired? I'm 2 months out. The first week of school did me in - my kids are teenagers but having to get up earlier for practices, then work and then run all these errands/school supply shopping left me tuckered. So I'm okay, it's been a week. I should be over this, right? I'm still tired. I'm going to bed at 9pm or earlier every night. For the past week, I've been getting up at my old usual time for work. I feel old! I am keeping up with my protein and water. Been taking vitamins, including B12 500 mg daily.

Are you doing any exercise? I find I'm most tired on the days I don't exercise and feel the best when I kick my butt. Just a thought! Carolyn

I forgot to mention that. I have been walking daily and doing the gym/weights 3x week.

Hi karen, The only time I feel really tired is a couple days before and during my period,I never had this before and I also had cramps so bad last month I was in tears! When I went to the clinic for a check-up the doctor told me that it is totally normal and it will stop in in several months,he said it is due to hormonal changes from the surgery and weight loss. Could it be possible this is what you are going through and with the stress you have been under just added to it? My daughter goes back to school on Wednesday and I am beginning the stress motion now,I HATE this first couple weeks of school, the morning BS of her poking around to be "perfect" drives me up a wall in itself! you know make-up... 10 outfits and does this look good mom does that go with this mom...blah blah blah....GEEZzzzzzLOL!NOT AT 5:00 AM please!! never the less I will regain my house again! anyway, man did I just get side tracked...can you tell we are mothers?LOL well I hope you find a solution and are feeling better rested soon! (((hugs))) Nancy

Yes - I think we moms do to much - I have 8yr. old twins & between work, keeping the house, taking them to wherever they are going & practices - we are still healing and adjusting to our new lifestyle - I am going to talk to my Surg. about it when I see him in 3wks. , until then I will sneak a nap whenever possible!!!

Oh, I wish I had time for a nap. Yesterday, I had the day off and while running errands and dr. appts was so tired that I'd want to rest my eyes at red lights. I had 45 minutes between appts and stopped home and napped for 30 minutes. It felt great. Wish I could do that every day! On a normal work day, I get up at 5:30 am, get home at 5pm, walk, pick my dd up, and go to the gym 3 times a week. I try to get to bed between 9pm and 10 pm (always by 10 pm). I'm going for my 3 month visit in a week so I'm going to talk to the dr about it.
