I don't know why this stresses me out so much, but I hate taking the tylenol tablets. The plain uncoated tablets are pretty big, so I quarter them. Do you do the same or do you take caplets or liquid? I was afraid of the sugar in the liquid, so I haven't tried it. But there is a white caplet that doesn't have a colored coating... is it okay to snap those in half and take? Thanks! Stacy

I take the gel caps. They are smaller than M&M's. I dumped on the liquid cherry tylenol! Robin 274/228

Hi Stacey My Dr.at the weight loss clinic told me that as long as the pill is not a time release pill it can be broken or crushed.Best thing is to call your surgeon and ask as all Dr.'s differ in opinion. I have taken tyenol liquid cherry too but did not have any problem at all.Just like foods hon we are all differnt and what one may tolerate another may not. It is a PITA!!lol Something you might want to try is quarter the pill and put it in pudding or applesauce it will go down easier for you.Take one quarter at a time in a small amount of pudding,I was doing this with my calcium pills they were big enough to choke a horse! I since discovered citracal creamy bites they are like little petite fours and whoooooo they are great!!!now if we can come up with that concept for other meds we would have it made! LOL Hope it all works out for you! ((hugs)) Nanc

My Doc/Nut won't let us take the pills yet - unless crushed and I don't care what I do, those crushed tablets taste like cr***. The liquid tylenol has worked for me...unless I try to drink it down too fast (gulp) then I get a little bit of the sicky feeling. I've gotten good at finding liquid and chewable tablets for most of my medicines. Funny, I never thought I would be taking chewables at 45 years old. Anyway, this is what I do...hope it helps, but like they say, we all react differently. lol

I take the coated tablets and they go down pretty well. I made the mistake of trying the liquid stuff not thinking about the sugar and got pretty sick from it. When I do crush pills, I find peanut butter is a good thing to put them in! Carolyn
