Excercise! Move to loose today?

Hi everyone! What have you done for your excersie today?I went for a 5.3 mile walk this morning,came home and worked out with my torso track,ab-roller,free weights and tonight I will do about 30 to 45 minutes on the Gazelle. I joined the physical fitness wellness program starting in September and I am so excited! I know everyone there from when I used to go for my physical therapy after my back surgeries and thrilled to be able to be with them all again! ((hugs)) Nanc so,what is your excercise for the day?

Nanci - how long does it take you to do a 5.3 mile walk? I walk my dogs around the rentention pond - about 25 minutes (I need to get a pedometer, but I'm guess about 3/4 mile). And I try to go to the gym to work out on the weights 3 times a week - I have now got a gym buddy in my 16 y/o son so I think I'll get there more often. I also try to do that ski-ing/olyptical machine Monday night. 2 minutes - wow!! Shooting for 5 minutes tonight! hahaha.

I started at 5:00 Am yeah I am one of those real early morning birds!I love it because it is cool out,I came in the door at 7:50, I just started to pick the pace up a bit instead of the usual stroll,I am finding that I am getting a more beneficial walk, "trotting" now I am not Sea Biscut LOL...but pace myself according to inclines.And take my breaks too,I take a bag of treats for my buddies on the way (the dogs)ya know I give them almost every day and you think they would appreciate it? nooooooo Chewy the neighbors Chow still manages to come flying out of nowhere and scare the crap out of me!LOL... seriously guys I am finding myself in very good shape even though I still have 65 pounds to loose yet I am getting there physically and can move well.I could not walk around the block 3 months ago! Now Ben,Ben,Ben are you one of "those" drivers that we scream "GAS IS ON THE RIGHT"!!!! TOO????lol.... BEN HON! IT IS AWESOME TO SEE YOU BACK WITH US AGAIN...PLEASE STAY!!! ((HUGS)) Nanc

4.5 miles on the eliptical this morning. 4 yesterday. Meeting with the personal trainer on Friday. I hope that will go well. Nancy. Sounds like you are doing so well. Keeping up that pace will definitely help keep up the weight loss!

WOW!!!!!!!!!! I thought I was doing good but Daniel and Nancy you are just rocking the exercise, I am so proud of you. Tonight I am going back to see my Personal Trainer for the first time since a month before surgery. She saw me at the gym the other day and nearly flipped out. I am excited to see her and work with her again, I know that the weight will just melt off working with her. So, that will be an hour work out with her tonight, I am sure that I will burn any calories and then some when I am done working with her tonight Jeanna

Just keep challenging yourself. Every week a little farther or a little faster. You'll get there. Can keep track of it all on fitday along with your food.

Afternoon all! I was at the gym today. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, and then worked out with my trainer for an hour. We did abs (lots of abs), then leg presses, leg curls, incline presses, seated rows, overhead presses, overhead pulls, preacher curls and tricept dips. Now I'm off to paint my son's room! I'm fairly certain if I did all of that I'd not be able to lift my arms up to paint anything! What a workout!
