It has been awhile >>update

Hi Juners I hope all is going well with everyone,I see the board is litterally dead,there are still posts from july...YIKES,well I can say I think that could be a good thing meaning that everyone is enjoying there summer and new lives! I have been seriously MIA due to some problems,I came down with a sinus infection in May and still had it up until 2 weeks ago,I had some tests done and they found a tumor and I had it surgically removed 2 weeks ago, the biopsy showed that the cells were abnormal and Instead of them giving me chemo they gave me radioavtive (radiation type) pills since it was so small. It was really weird I had to stay away from my family for a few days because of them so I spend some time in the mountains at my brothers cabin by myself it was awesome! freaked me out in the middle of the night with the creature sounds from the woods...LOL..ya know...Lions,tigers and bears....OH MY! anyway I have had my check up with my surgeon and all is 100% well.THANK GAWD it was a very dark time as you can imagine and I really sucluded myself So those of you who I keep in contact with I am so sorry for the lack of communication and I hope you will all forgive me for distancing myself,it was not my intention but I was so down and I am not the type of person to drag others along with me,this was my situation and you are going through your own with your journeys.... OOOOOOKKKKKAAAAYYYYYYY >>>>enough of that crap!LOL As far as my WLS still doing fantastic,hit a few bumps with differnt foods but learned my lessons quickly! I am now down 71 pounds and in a size 18 I have not been this size since high school!! I added a new picture to my profile it is not the best picture,I still have some brusing under my eyes ( I tried to cover it up but still shows) and I am soooooooooooo notttttttttt photgetic!LOL! I hope you all will be adding new pictures too,so we can share our journey's together! Take care everyone! Nancy

WOW - what a great attitude...you go girl. I too noticed how dead our month is getting. Hope that means we're all doing well. I have started to discover some of the other forums on the site, but miss my Junebugs. I am so proud of your weight loss. We had surgery around the same time (June 8th for me) and I am just down 53 lbs, since surgery. Its going slow, but its going so no complaining. Do you have trouble eating? I'd just as soon not eat - but force myself to do so. This is a recent twist for me...some say that is why I'm not losing like others. I need to take a pic. of myself so that I can get it on. I've always avoided the camera, but maybe its time. Keep care of yourself - and I'll keep you in my prayers. Good luck gal.

Your picture looks great! My, that must have been a scary experience...do you have to go for frequent check-ups or are you released from the nasal surgeon/ENT? Glad they were able to treat it... Take care, Aramat
