I am doing well. My weightloss is very slow but at 2 months out I only have a little less than 70lbs to my goal. I havent dumped or thankfully and have had very little in the way of food intolerances. I discovered I can eat salad with no problems and have been eating it like crazy since the first time I tried it!!! Its like such a treat... amazing eh? hehe. Still focusing on getting in protein and water of course... and trying to keep my butt exercising daily!!! Since surgery I joined a yoga class... next week I am starting a hiphop dance/aerobics class as well and have been swimming as much as I can! The first goal I set for myself is to be under 200lbs so I am looking forward to that!!! I am hoping to be there by the mid-end of October!!

Jennifer, You are doing great ! I still havent tried to eat a salad, I am afraid to try. Maybe I will get my nerve up and try to eat one this week. I hope you reach goal for october. I have been going to the park to a track there walking, I havent joined the gym yet, but plan on it.

Hey, my pouch is Ok - except recently, I'm finding it more difficult to eat anything...I can eat it just fine, and don't :puke: or dump, just get really sickish...maybe that is dumping. I've slowed down even more and am eating less now than before. I'm also having trouble with water and my inbetween juices - just am not hungry/thirsty at all. I have to force myself to eat and drink. On a good note, I went to get new underware and nightgowns yesterday. Hubby made me get size 8 underware (yeah right) and a 1X nightie. I thought he was crazy - but guess what, they fit. The undies are a little snug, but not uncomfortably so. Anyway, its neat.

Cyndi, a pouch is certainly different from a stomach right? Used to I could eat anything, now even if I dont throw up my pouch gets shakey or something. I cant drink plain water at all I have to put crystal light in it . I have got so I hate protein no matter how I fix it. I drink it but dont like it. I can still ware the same clothes but they are baggy, I am hoping I can get into some new ones soon. I got some and they are still just a bit tight. If I didnt have this hernia I could ware them now. I dont wont to put anything over the hernia to hurt it. My Dr says he wants to wait until I have lost more weight before he removes it. I am sad over it. I did not ever want another sore on my stomach. Guess I will have one anyways. Yea for you on the 1x nighty. I want to be able to ware normal clothes so very much.

Howdy all. I wouldn't know from wearing nighties (really!) but just wanted to say hi to my fellow JuneBugs. I'm down 65 at two months out. Not the fastest and not the slowest. Probably a fine pace to set for what I need to lose. I'm having to kick my own butt to the gym everyday. Some days I get there and some I don't. I'm always happier after I work out though. Makes me feel like I'm really doing something to help burn this fat away. Glad others are doing well too. -Daniel

Yo, Danny boy (I've always wanted to call someone that, hope you don't mind)! You are amazing...65 #. I can only wish. Maybe if I'd kick my butt and get to a gym. $$$ is soooo tight right now that I don't think thats viable. I have arthritis and need to do some water walking. Oh well, I do what I can with what I have and I'm doing OK. You are doing great, keep it up and keep us posted.

Hey you, don't let those clothes sit too long. I had a pair of size 20 slacks, and I thought "no way". I tried them on and couldn't get them above my thunder thighs. So I stuck them in the closet and forgot about them, but last night I tried them on again and guess what...they fit (in fact, they are a little too big) and my 22 that I wore only one or two times are BAGGY. We almost have to try on every day as our bodies are changing so much. I hope you get the hernia taken care of. Hubby had one removed and has had trouble with it. Friend had one and has had NO problems...guess its like WLS, everyone is different. LOL...
