the low carb isopure protien powder based protein drink is what the guy at the GNC suggested that I get. I explained that I had just had gastric bypass surgery and couldnt tolerate milk right now, he took me straight over and said it was really good. I have noticed though I havent lost any weight since I started on this 2 weeks ago so I decided to not drink it one day and see what happens...... the next morning I lost 5 lbs. I decided to find my glasses and read the fine print which said it was for athlets and DO NOT USE FOR WEIGHT REDUCTION. someone told me they all say that and not to worry I am just going threw a plateau. Do you guys think its the drink or what? I know I need the protein so I am in the process of trying to find another but curious as to what you guys think. Thank you guys!!! jackie

I haven't tried the isopure brand yet. I was using Carb Solution brand from Winn Dixie here. I just bought some kind of powder. I'm gonna go check it right now though!!!! Magina

I've been in about 6 different GNC's and they've all reccomended the same stuff to me. They always say - you'll want the one with least carbs. I've always told them I'm a GB patient. It's hard to say, but yeah, you DO need the protein, and perhaps it's a plateau... but can you easily call up your nut? Or does yours charge you? I can ask easy questions over the phone. I'd call her/him and read the ingredients. It can't hurt!!

I use the ZERO carb premixed Isopure in the bottles. It's a Kool Aid type drink. How many grams of sugar are in the low carb mix?

there are 0 g, 1g total fat, o sat. andtrans fat, sodium 320 mg, cholestrol 5mg, potassium 750mg, and 50 g of protein. I liked it cause I was getting in all my protein and it tasted like choc. milk. I think I will call the doc when I spoke to them the other day I mentioned I hadnt lost any , they said it was probly a plateau. Thank you all for all.

Many people over at Bariatriceating.com love the zero carb Isopure vanilla protein powder. Doublecheck that the one you're looking at is low low low in carbs. I haven't tried it. I have tried the Zero Carb Isopure in the bottles, and I HATE them!
