It has been super hot here in NC!!! I have been spending a lot of time at the pool and have myself quite a good tan!!! I have to go early in the morning (around 11) otherwise it is just way to hot for me!!! I am one month out tomorrow - cant believe 4 weeks have passed already! Everything has been wonderful - got food stuck once and ate too quick another time but thats been my *only* two issues so far!!! As of today 28lbs lost!!!! 74lbs more to go till goal!!!

Even hotter in LA (lower alabama) here!!! Was wonderin' when I could get back in the pool!!! My doc used glue and all of it hasn't come off yet??? But, I had surgery the 28th and I'm down about 28 as of last weigh in. Was wearin' 26/28 ++ and I'm comfortably wearing them now!!! I can't stand tight clothes or otherwise I would probably be in some 22/24's!!! Anyway, I'm still lovin' life now!!! Magina

I've lost 30 pounds. I used to have to push the driver's seat in my car all the way back. I've moved it up a few notches. What a great feeling!! In my shirts, I was a tight 26/28 and now my shirts are loose and fit great. In my pants I was a 28 and now in a 24. I have about a 120 pounds to go. Yip-pee!

Well after reading about your heat and swimming I must tell you I am sitting here with a wood fire going and a blanket over my legs! It's cold and windy here in Tasmania. I am down 25lbs and 11" gone I was to start at the gym yesterday but have been sick with the flu since Saturday. Except for my long term goal weight I dont have any short term weight goals. I have been concentrating on 'head' goals. It's always been my head that has done me in! Well done everyone

Well I had my first big smile over the weekend. As I packed up the kiddies to take them to the pool yesterday I thought I'd give my seatbelt a try. I haven't been able to wear it for a couple of years. Not anymore though. Sucker clicked right in like it was supposed to! I'm so thrilled I can't even stand it. My last weigh in was at my 2 week and I was down 29. I'll weigh in again on Friday for my one month check up.

It is a scorcher here in NC!! I went to the gym and worked out this morning, then took the kids to the pool for a few hours! My surgery date was 6/5 and I have lost 43 lbs and gone from 26's to 18-20 (depending on the clothes)!!! I realized the other night in the bed that I could roll over without having to sit up first!!! Yahoo!!! Keep it up everyone! Susan

6 weeks out today. It is my first day back at work. I am wearing a size 18W-20W t-shirt. Down from a 26W-28W. I got lots of nice compliments and tons of questions about my surgery. I have lost 31lbs since surgery and 61lbs total since I started my 6mo class at Kaiser last November. I threw up for the first time yesterday. I think it was the scrambled eggs. Yuck. I have not dumped yet. I am finding that I can eat red meat but not poultry. I tried deli turkey and felt so sick. Same with chicken. But I can eat beef jerky, hot dogs and steak no problem. How strange is that? I have found I like the chocolate Unjury protein powder. It tastes like chocolate milk. I have been fairly consistant doing my walking but will be much better now that I am back at work and will be on a schedule. Glad to see everyone is doing good. Michelle in SoCal

It was HOT here in Bama today! I dropped my lighter on the pavement and had to get on my knees to get it (under the car) and OMG! I burned my knees! I'm down 30-32. It fluctuates. I'm a slave to the scale I need to do a LOT more exercise. Congrats to everyone!!
