It isn't fair!
Oh no!! That will be miserable for a little while, but keep your eyes on the prize and fight!!!! You can do this! I know it will be hard though - I went to a mall the day after I was released from the hospital 4th of July..lean o. and was soooo miserable!! It was a smorgasbord of things I could not eat, and not to be outdone... there were all the stores with the cute little outfits that I could not wear, and I thought for sure would NEVER wear.... There are days.... the emotions can just get ya. But you can do this!! Hang on for dear life and use us to lean on!

Ive had a few people tell me this who are post-op.... they watch people eat "bad" food and see the amount they eat and it literally makes they sick!!! I was near a mcdonalds the other day and could smell it and it didnt seem appealing to me at all!!! If anything - its the mental part thats the hardest. I think mmm mcdonalds but I smell and Im like ewwww mcdonalds! Hopefully it wont be too bad for you!!
I went to my 4 week post-op appointment yesterday and everything is going well. I was given the go ahead to start incorporating more food. I stopped by McDonald's on my way home. I love their french fries and I bought a medium. Whadda ya know? It didn't taste good at all! I ended up balling up the bag with the left over fries and they are sitting on the floor of my car. You'll find that your tast buds have changed and foods that you really loved before, you may not like. So don't worry about McDonald's and Dominos being by your job. You'll be just fine.
