Vitamin question
Instead of buying the very expensive Optisource chewables, I went with Centrum Silver. I've only been taking one a day but the Optisource recommends their's to be taken 4x's a day. I'm wondering if I'm getting enough. Centrum Silver has almost twice the dosage of most of the vitamins compared to Optisource. Has anyone else come across this?
Thanks,
Kim
The only thing I know about Centrum Silver, is that it doesn't have iron in it. Regular Centrum does. You probably will need iron, so you may want to try Centrum, or add an iron supplement--- I would suggest talking to your dr's office about it, rather than doing it on your own- But I'm taking Centrum chewable and because my iron was low pre-op, they're having me add an additional iron above what's in the Centrum.
I never have looked into Optisource, so I don't have any info on that
Hope this helps some!

Give em a call! That's why they're paid the big bucks! Seriously, your vitamins are very, very important and not simething to be taken lightly - ask for the exact dosages, and if you need to read over the phone what yours has, or take them the bottle, then do that.
Aside from telling you to call in - what I take is a flinstone chewables with iron (blech!) 2x/day, and at week 4 I'm to start cacium 3x/day. as well as 500mcg extra B12.
I'm adding zinc and biotin to that as well for my hair..
HTH, but really, call in!!
