Post Op Vitamins???????????

Hi There, I just heard about this board, I've been on the Ontario Canada board for over a year now. But I had Lap/RNY on Thursday June 29th and need to know about vitamins. I bought the following and not sure how many and when tot ake them, can anyone help? -Jamieson Adult Chewable Multi-Vit -Liquid Calcium Citrate -B 12 Strips Anyone have any input here? Hugs, Tammy

hI I can tell you what my doctor has me on its 1 multi vit everyday chewable 1500mg calcium citrate to be taken 500 mg 3 x a day SUBLINGUAL vitamin b complex Thats all I am on but you really should check with your surgen. Hope this helps Bye Bye

Mine was similar 1 multivitamin complete 2x day 1500 mg calcium per day 1000 B12 per week

My doc prescribed 2 Flintstone COMPLETE. Complete being the operative word. It has the extra iron in it. I also have to have 3 SF Tums with Calcium.

centrum chewable multi vit - 2x's gnc chewable calcium citrate - 2x's Robin

1 chewable multivitamin 2 x day 2000 mg calcium (whatever I don't get from dairy has to come from calcium citrate supplement) sublingual B 12 3 x week All of my supplements are from Bariatric Advantage. Amy

You should take vitamins and minerals seperate... here is what my NUT said Breakfast - 2 chewable vitamins w/Iron and b12 or bcomplex Lunch - calcium (take what the bottle directs) Dinner - calcium
