Anyone feel nausea?

I had lap rny on the 13th. I'm pretty much pain free but I am having problems with my blood sugar dropping. So when I feel it dropping, I get something to eat which seems to be every three hours or so. Then once I eat three or four bites, then I get nausous. Did anyone else feel this way and when did it go away? Thanks, Kristi

Hi Kristi, I am only 1 week post-op so I don't know if I can really help but the only thing I have had problems with Nausea is when I eat too fast. It lasts all day! Good luck! Julia

Maybe you need to go back to liquids for a few days. Are you actually checking your blood sugar or just guessing? Are you on any oral hypoglycemics (diabetes meds). Are you chewing adequately and allowing enough time between bites? Take this info and discuss with your surgeon's nurse. Good luck.

I had problems with nausea last week also. This week will be 4 weeks post surgery for me, it also happened even when I was drinking my water. But so far this weekend it has gone away. I do agree, that it does happen when I eat to fast or to much. I hope that helps. Penny
