Not Superwoman

Ok so I am close to admitting I am not Superwoman. I had to go to my dr today and I have a chest infection and oral thrush..which I have never had in my life before. This is the second time I've needed medical help since my op on the 20th. So my immune system has been kicked in the guts (no pun intended), I've been doing too much and I'm dead tired. I get 'I told you so' looks from hubby so .... ok.. maybe I am not Superwoman after all but heck I sure do like the idea of wearing her costume

You just had major surgery. Some have complications, some don't. There's no way of knowing, ya know? So when you're full of energy and looking hotter than ever, you can give your hubby the "I told you so" look I hope you feel better soon... and take it easy!

I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well. If it's any consolation, my surgery was the day after yours and I got dx'd with that gross thrush stuff today. Did they give you Nystatin rinse by any chance. Please say yes! I have some here and hesitate to take it. I didn't feel like I wanted to wait til tomorrow so I went to the MedExpress this evening and they gave me the scrip. I hope you are "flying around" soon. Amy

Hi Amy, Yucky isn't it. My dr went for the lozenges rather than the Nystatin rinse. So I have one sitting in my mouth dissolving away four times a day. They taste ok too lol. Hope you get better soon too. S.
