Soft Solids: What are you eating?
Hello all!
I am also on a strict plan.
Day 3-10 all liquids and sf jello.
Day 11-21 mushies (pureed to a fine consistency)
Day 21- week 8 a gradual escalation of foods
Honestly, I can't wait until day 21. I was on a liquid diet for a month before surgery. I can't wait to have somthing solid settle into my stomach.

Nothing. LOL. I am on liquids for four weeks . However, liquids can mean anything that is of thin enough consistency to be sucked up in a straw! I've had one week of clear fluids and today I had 150ml of strained, home made vegetable soup. The vegies from the soup have all been packed away in little freezer bags ready for the mushy stage in another three weeks.
Hey all, i'm 3 weeks post-op, I to lap gastric bypass, I had to have liquids 2 weeks before surgery and for 4 weeks after pureed, I'm to the point now where i'm ready to have a scrambled egg w/cheese, anything but, applesauce, pudding, broth,potaotes,,ect, you know what I mean. I have 1 week left, and then cheese and crackers here I come, I'm a little nervouse to move on to the next stage, but am welcoming it. Good luck to everyone, and Happy losing.
