Home Sweet Home

My surgery was on 6/21/06. I was in pain for two days after the surgery. I did get pain medication in the hospital, but it took awhile for me to get easy. Finally, after 4 days in the hospital, I got to go home. The Dr. and nurses were wonderful at the hospital. I am a student nurse and this experience has really taught me what it is like to be a patient and also what it is like to be scared, anxious, home sick, and in pain. I am ready to start my new life.

Welcome home Brenda. I'm glad all went well for you. My first 2 days were more than a bit rough too. I wanted 4 days in the hospital, but they kicked me to the curb after 2 nights. I wish you all the best. EW

Congrats on your surgery Brenda! I know what you mean about being a student nurse in the hospital... makes it sooo much more intriguing, huh?? Been there, done that.
