Hunger Pains... Duh.

I have been having stomach pains since surgery which I figured was normal after having my insides mauled! However, starting day 5 they are still there but I must admit less than before. I was explaining how it felt to my husband who looked at me and said.. 'sounds like hunger pains to me'. Duh. It's been sooooo long since I ever felt real hunger pains that I had forgotten what they felt like! Getting used to listening to my body is going to be an interesting journey. S.

BUT... a good journey, yes? I am sure it's a real trip though, and can't wait to join you on this magical journey... Enjoy getting to know the new you!! It's going to be changing and morphing so much over the next year it may be difficult to figure out till it's done, because of the constant changes... Lol, I have hunger pains in my head. They sound like this: "Oh you wanna swallow a corndog whole" "Go inhale a ribeye" "eat your weight in chips and dip" I actually watched some show the other day about how they make potato chips and all I could think about is diving in head first mouth wide ass open! LOL!

Holly you are funny as hell!!!!! It seems we are rebirth twins. I also had surgery on June 15th. And My head hunger got me wishing I could have a juicy big ole cheesburger. ... I felt hunger pains about 5 days out from sugery. When I did I was like lordy I get to eat whoopeee, but when all I could get down was about 3 ounces of grits....my head wanted to have more but my pouch was protesting...I was so sick and felt bloated that I had to keep still for awhile until my poor stomach was able to digest it. Never again...I'm trying to eat slow and take my time...learning to eat all over again is a trip and a half.

I too have been having hunger pangs since surgery on 6/22. Based on what others told me, I thought I wasn't going to feel hungry at all! I guess everyone is different. At least I will fill up quickly...
