Congrats on your upcoming surgery! When I had to do my 2 week pre-op liquid diet, I drank 3-4 protein shakes a day and supplemented that with SF popsicles, SF jello and the broth from chicken noodle soup (for some reason that was more appealing than just opening a can of chicken broth). I tried to make sure that I got in 500-600 calories a day and at least 60 grams of protein.

Cheryl, congrats! I have the same date.. but I'm starting liquids today - and only because I want to make sure that the scale doesn't budge upwards on the day of surgery. If I've gained even 1 pound, surgeon calls it off!!!!! SCAREY!! So, I'm joining you now! I think I'm going to do mostly like the last poster said and do lots of protein shakes - I have some slim fast to use up, and popsicles, jello (which I normally hate) and broth etc.. etc.. I hadn't even thought of cream soups... that's an idea.
It's going to be hard, but I wanted to let you know that I'm right there with ya!
