Hi Jennifer! Congrats on the great weight loss so far!!! the first week is always a drastic one,you are losing a lot of fluid that you have retained. After that the weight loss will be less but a little more consistant. Keep up the excellent work,You are doing wonderful Jennifer! Nancy

Jennifer my weight loss the first two weeks was very similar to yours. 16lbs the first week and only 4 more the second week. So I think it is very normal. As Nancy said I do believe allot of it in the first week is water, because I actually had ankles starting to appear after my first week. Keep up the great work Stacy

Same thing here, when I went to my 1 week appt he told me I was doing great but not to epect those numbers all the time, it was to be alot of water weight. He also said I will have stalls in the weight lose as my body adjusts to everything, there will be times the body will go into starvation mode and try to hold onto anything it can. Even if you dont see the numbers going down, the inches will be, at least it did for me. You are doing great, keep up the great work. Melissa

I agree with Melissa's comments. I lost 30 pounds in the first 10 days and then only 5 in the past week. I have had a hard time eating "regular" meals, so I think that my body is definitely adjusting to the drastic changes. I definitely noticed a huge decrease in how much water I was retaining. The pounds have slowed, but the inches are coming off more quickly. I know I shouldn't be a slave to the scale, but it keeps calling my name. Keep your spirits up, and stay the course. It sounds like you are doing great. Lori
