Welcome Back Kayla!
Thanks so much!! How nice of you! I am feeling much better this evening and I am assuming that is the way it will go for me... A little better, then better then best!! Whooo hooooo! I can't wait! So far so good at home although napping has become a hobby of mine! I am keeping track of my fluid intake so I can show my doctor in 2 weeks. I am hoping to be down several pounds by then. To be honest I weighed before I left the hospital and I had gained almost 3 lbs... And that is after drinking little of what they gave me. They blamed the ivs for the weight gain. I have to admit I was a bit discouraged but plan on making my 2 weeks work to my advantage. Thanks again... And my prayers are still going out daily for all of your past, current and future successes!!!!

Kayla you are so in the groove, you go gurl! it is so good to hear the happiness in your words!
don't be discouraged with the after weight gain, in the next 2 to 3 days you will start going so much, after surgery it take a couple days for your vital organs to catch up and when your kidneys start 100% you will know!LOL...the 3 pounds will be gone in a day!
Kayla we have done what we need to by getting this surgery behind us,the worse thing is to get on that scale every day,it is pyschological warfare.Weight always varies from day to day,if there is a day where you had say tomato juice there is a lot of sodium at the body will retain some of it so the next day the scale may be higher.
If we all do what we are told the weight will come off no doubt about it.
I do my weight in once a week,I have surgeon and clinic Dr. Appointments every friday for the next month so I am just doing my weekly weigh in there,I will pull my scale out after the appointments are over and continue a weigh ins every fridays after that.
If you need me you know how to find me!
