Message From Kayla's Sister
Hello everyone!
This is Kayla's sister Crystal. Kayla had her surgery on June 14th, and was to be released from the hospital today. However, Kayla has asked me to log on and let you all know that she will not be able to come home today, because she has been having severe nausea and is continuously vomiting. We are hoping that she will be released tomorrow after the doctor sees her. Although, she is not feeling well, she is still in good spirits, and anxious to overcome her nausea so she can return home to her family, and begin her recovery. I am very proud of my sister and all that she has accomplished, she is a wonderful person and always succeeds in whatever she decides to do. Please keep her in your prayers to return home soon, and begin the new chapter in her life. Thank you for all of your support and prayers!
Thank you so much for the update Crystal,I am sorry that she is not feeling well,it could very be the anethesia that is making her sick.It is very common.
Please give Kayla a hug for me and tell her I am praying for her and she is in my thoughts,I miss her here very much!
Please keep us updated!
God Bless!
Nancy

I FEEL 95% TODAY AND AM GLAD THAT THE DOC KEPT ME THE EXTRA DAY. BOY... THIS SURGERY IS A HUGE CHANGE! LITTLE DID I REALIZE HOW DIFFERENT MY LIFE WOULD BECOME. I HAD READ AND REREAD PROFILES, JOURNEYS, STORIES ETC.... AND STILL DID NOT FATHOM WHAT EVERYONE ELSE HAD GONE THROUGH. NOW I AM AT THE BEGINNING OF MY JOURNEY AND EVEN THOUGH I CAN'T SEE THE POT OF GOLD AT THE END... I KNOW IT IS THERE. AND I AM COMFORTED BEYOND BELIEF. THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICS IN THIS WEBSITE ARE MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GO EVERYDAY ! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PRAYED FOR ME AND SENT ME EMAILS... (I HAD OVER 160 WHEN I GOT HOME) LET'S ALL KEEP IN TOUCH THROUGHOUT OUR JOURNEY AND TRY AND BE FAITHFUL WITH OUR UPDATES! WMLAR, KAYLA
Kayla,
It's your june 14th twin Shannon. I am so happy you are home and feeling a bit better. We are in this thing together girl and we will stay in touch. I am glad to be home too. Sore and a tad gassy but good. I am just going to have to work on getting enough protein and fluids in. I can tell for sure when my pouch is full and it only takes a few sips right now. I am proud of you for coming through this and I look forward to our futures together.
