Progress?
I just wanted to post and let everyone know how I was doing and see how the early month surgeries are doing as well.
I am down 19lbs in 10 days.
I have been experimenting with food and so far everything I have tried seems to be going well, everything except tunafish, that didnt sit very well.
Its been a struggle to get all my water in....I never drank a whole lot to begin with so all this fluid just makes me feel soooo bloated everyday but I am trying my best
Where is everyone with eating and weight?

I am 6/5 too. I have not tried too many things yet. I was in the hospital for 7 days and they only gave me broth and jello. The last day they did give me cream of wheat. It tasted like heaven. I have had it a couple of times since I have been home too. I eat cottage cheese at least once a day. I had 3 saltines with it for dinner tonight. I also eat yoghurt at least once a day. Vanilla light and fit. Yesterday I added a scoop of vanilla protein powder and a dash of cinnimon. It is not the greatest but it is pretty easy to get in the protein powder that way. I did have a couple finger fulls of creamy peanut butter and I think if I would have eaten more than that I would have gotten sick. I got a heavy feeling in my chest and I did not like it. I have also eaten some apple sauce. That is about it. Oh yeah I did have 4 oz milk with sf instant breakfast.
I am doing okay with the water but have to add Crystal Light or something like that. When I came home from the hospital I weighed 3lbs more than then day of surgery. I have lost about 6lbs since I came home on Sunday. I have been having bowel blockage problems but otherwise feel pretty good. I got my staples out today. I didn't realize how uncomfortable they were making me.

Hi!!! I had surgery June 8th and I am down 8 bs. I dont know if that is good or not but at least it is in the down direction. I too am having trouble getting all the water in. I cannt drink 1/2 hr before I eat and then an hour after I eat. I went to Dr. Caylor yesterday and he said I have a size 10 band. He said it is a medium band. I go back in 5 weeks for a follow-up and a possible fill. He told me to walk, walk, walk, and to have a definate exercise plan when I return.
IT IS 95 degrees here and the heat index is 110. I am joining the college to walk in their air conditioned track- I cant take the heat. I have been off all week and have not spent one day resting. I have also had some "referred pain" in my left shoulder. He said the pain in the right shoulder(slight pain) was from air. It went away quickly. But the pain in my right shoulder was terrible and it got me down at first. Of course it started feeling better the day I was suppose to go see the MD.
My husband took the scales and put them where I cant find them. He does not want me to get on them every day. (How did he know I was doing that- maybe several times a day )
Anyway that is what is happening with me!! I really appreciate's eveyone's well wishes before my surgery. I had my computer in the shop and got it back today- so that is why I am so late in giving everyone a BIG THANK YOU!!!!! You are are
to me!!!
I am going to bed now. Take care all!!!!

I definately need to put the scale somewhere, I cant stay off the darned thing and I know I need to stop that, its just the first time that I can ever remeber it goes down not up. Although when it stalls I feel like I am failing already and its only been 10 days, I guess thats why everyone makes that mistake early on and then learns to stay off the scales.
