I will be with you on the 19th...
What time is your surgery?
This weekend I will be doing some last minute things at the house. Yanno how you men are, ok not all of them but some...can't make a bed, can't load the dishwasher...oh but he can wash clothes..
He told me earlier I probably won't want to do anything Sunday but rest, I said...I will be spending a lot of time in the restroom...
I know there has to be others than just you and I on the 19th.
Good luck on your surgery and I pray you have a uneventful surgery.
G.
I am at 7:30 CST.
I have different worries than you. It sounds like I am the polar opposite of your hub. I can't wash clothes but do everything in the kitchen and all the cooking. A little concerned how my wife and kid will be eating for the next few weeks...
Best of luck to you and see you on the other side..!

Hey guys I am also on the 19th and I start tomorrow on clear liquids. Saturday I have to go to the hospital to pre-admit and sunday I shall be on the toidy. My daughter is also on the same day..
I am on the 19th as well. My surgery is at noon cst. I am really excited. I have already started preparing easy meals that my mom can make my daughter, they are in the freezer. My husband is in training because he leaves for Iraq on July 3rd, so there are some burritos and sandwich stuff if he is able to come home. Luckily they are letting him be with me on the surgery day itself, but it is unclear at this time, if he will be able to visit at night. I have premade some clear soups and put them in ice trays (one cube is 1 ounce). That way when I get home, I have pre made meals, and nothing goes to waste. I have a little more shopping to do (cream of wheat, propel, etc) but as a whole everything is ready. I am more worried that my daughter will be taken care of then me I guess... she is almost 18 months old, and will be staying at our house, but my mom is taking care of her.
I am on a light diet now... salads fish etc.. NO heavy foods. On sunday I will be clear liquids only. I do not have to do a bowel prep on Sunday... I am excited!
