Surgery June 5th

I am finally back from the hospital. My surgery was Monday, June 5th and I got home yesterday, Sunday the 11th. I had a few complications and I couldn't come home sooner. I am so glad to be home and I am doing well now. I have a few horror stories but it is more about the staff of the hospital than anthing else. My main complications were with my bladder. It stopped working correctly and I kept having to have a catheter. Also I had to have a CT scan and it looks like my bowels are all backed up but they let me go home because I was passing gas. So I am now looking for something to clean me out. I have not lost any weight yet so maybe after I find something I will. So far no regrets even though I was a bit discouraged in the hospital. A lady I went to my Kaiser Options class with had her surgery the same day and she also had complications and ended up getting released the same day as me. So we were good support for each other. I am glad you are back! I will pray for the rest of your recovery to be successful. The hardest part is over... now... do everything in your power to get to your goal. I was told the first year is the best time to lose the weight. Good Luck and May God Bless You! Kayla
