Bowel Prep advice.

This is when I'll be glad my husband bought one of those automatic toto toilets with the bidet thing built in. It has warm water bath and a blow dryer for your hiney. I'll be prepping on my bday for Friday AM surgery I'll see you all on the "other side". Good luck to us all. Hugs

Well now......I think we should all get our tickets and fly right on out to Cindy Z's in San Diego to do our preps! Sounds like she has a potty to die for!!!! Wear your hats! Bless her heart she's having a birthday "potty!" That reminds me.....my birthday is January 22....and my "re-birthday" is going to be June 21st. So I'm going to have a birthday party twice a year exactly six months apart! I always wanted a summer birthday!!!! Amy

My surgery was May 30th so I spent my Memorial Day doing the Fleet prep. Let me tell you, if you can get through drinking that crap and the rest of the day the rest (postop) is nothing. I honestly think the hardest part so far has been the bowel prep-- I am exactly two weeks post surgery today!

I had to drink the Fleet-soda crap. I took it at 8am and 10:30am yesterday. I didn't even mention how awful that stuff tasted. Today I have to take neomycin and flagyl. I've been warned that they will make me sick too. Tomorrow is the big day. I think I can suffer whatever if it will just get me there. MsSmiles

Wow....... No bowel prep required over here! Makes me wonder why? I almost wish I had to... I wonder what the difference will be?!?!?!

My surgeon just wanted me to do low carb all week and then do the bowel prep and liquids the day before surgery. Tonight we went to Ruby Tuesday and I had the following: A big ol' salad, a Megarita and "Brownie" which is really a brownie w/ ice cream and chocolate syrup. I'm gonna be HATING it tomorrow. However, when I got to work this morning there was a voicemail from my boss who is out of town saying "Holly, I spoke with a friend of mine who had to do a bowel prep for a colonoscopy and they said you'll need to be off of work b/c you'll be in a lot of pain and running to the bathroom so today is your last day!" Hooray! Did I mention my birthday is tomorrow? I'll be 30. "What did you do on your 30th birthday?" "Ah, it was pretty crappy!" Pahaha!
