My surgery was a couple of days ago on June 9th. I'll admit I was a little embarrassed to tell folks my surgery would be in Mexico but WOW! You would not believe the treatment. When I got off the plane there awaits a SUV taxi to take me to OCA Hospital where there is a doorman ready to open the car door and the door to the hospital. Then I was greeted with an elevator operator anxious to take me to my floor. The hotel is inside the hospital (which is a plus). Everyday the entire hospitals staff wore the exact same type of uniform (suits with colared shirts) but the color changed according to the day of the week (green, pink, grey, purple). Everyone had a smile, aimed to pleased and very professional. I even would get a wheelchair escort to the room next door (ha). The final iceing on cake was (drumroll please) each patient's room was private, about 3x-4x the average private room in the US and equiped with DVD, couch, recliner, dining table, and a 52" tv. WOW!
