June 14th Bunch

Hi guys, Just wanted to say hi and touch base with everyone going in for surgery on June 14 and anytime in June. I am on the all liquid diet and honestly it isn't really all that bad. I hate seeing those KFC ad's with the chicken, corn, potatos in a bowl but other than than..I am good!! I am looking forward to next Wed but a little nervous as well. I went to the hospital for my pre-op tests today and got all the paperwork in order so it's almost here. Good luck to all on June 14th..my twins..sort of and everyone being given a new start in life in June. Shannon

hi shannon, i am a 14th baby too, getting a bit nervous, but who wouldnt,lol. i dont have to do liquids til the day before, but will be ok, cant wait til the 14th, good luck to all of us in june!! teri

HI, I just found out today that my surgery was moved from the 20th to the 14th! I am so excited,,,,no liquid diet here just need to eat lite the day before. I am so very excited, can't wait to see you all on the losing side! Hugs Tracy

Hi Shannon! June 14 babe here. i started my fast Friday 2 am (was suppose to be midnight but I was in the middle of my last bag of sweet n hot chips for a while). I was a little hungry last night but nothing I couldn't deal with. It will be worth it in the end. Hang in there!!! MsSmiles

Hey all! June 14th here too. It's almost here. I cannot wait. I am soooo excited. My surgery is first thing in the morning and I am scheduled to be released on Friday afternoon, if God is willing of course. I will post as soon as I get home, if the trip isn't too bad, we only live 1 hr and 15 min from hospital. My prayers will be with you all...may we all have a smooth uneventful surgery and a record breaking speedy recovery!! Success be with you! ((((((((hugs))))))))

Hi everyone, I, too, am June 14th! I start my liquids after midnight Monday. I am so ready for this!!! Mine is a revision from VGB, performed in 1988, to RNY. I know that there are a few more risks to a revision, but I'm really not worried, well, maybe a little. Prayers for everyone...and I hope everyone is as excited about their surgery as I am about mine!!! Crystal
