June 12 is my day!

Hello everyone, new to the message board scene, but I am having gastric bypass Monday and I think I spent 2 hours looking at the before and afters yesterday. I am hoping for that type of sucess as well. I am hopefull that everything will go well. I am just concerned with my post op life. I know the first month is going to be hard.... but I guess I am a big picture type persona nd I am worried about little things like how to shop and what happens if you ever are making something and youlick your finger are you going to have a sumping scene just from that "lick?" It sounds weird but these are the things I am thinking about. Also, I feel like eating everything in the world like a last supper kind of thing! I am sure I am not alone. I am pushing the week before's "low fat diet" Oh well I guess that 's it. WISH ME LUCK!!

ME TOO! Monday, June 12th...I'll be in the operating room along with all of you! (okay, not in the "same" operating room, but figuratively speaking anyway...) I cannot wait! Tomorrow is my last day of work, and then I'm off for a month. I wanted to take 4 full weeks off to recoop and get used to my new life. Anyway...I'll be thinking about all of you on Monday. When we get scared or nervous on Monday morning, just think about all of us who are going through the EXACT SAME THING at the EXACT SAME TIME...pretty cool, and what a way to remember we're not alone. All you June 12thers...update on the messageboards when you get home next week. We can all check in with eachother, and see how we're all doing. 4 days and counting...
