Had my pre-op visit today! woo hoo

I just got back from my pre-op visit and the excitement ha**** me! I start the liquid diet on Tuesday and have surgery on the 20th! Did get some good news today... surgeon gave me a newer liquid diet and it now has SF pudding, light yougert annnnnnnnd creamy soups! YaYYYYYYYYYYYY Am very excited about that... least I have a few more options and will be less likely to kill somebody since I can have a little more variety!

Congrats Jenn! I can feel your excitement! The time is going to fly by so fast! I have been on the liquid diet too,my surgeon has me on 3 protein shakes,tantalizing broth,and the oh yeah don't forget that suckulent jello LOL..... what I found to be very good is the diet V-8 splash there is like nothing in it and tastes yummy I add a packet of splenda to sweeten it up a bit. also the Dannon light yogurt smoothies are awesome! Awesome Jennifer!! I'm so excited for you! Your pre-op diet sounds pretty good to me.. My surgeon really isn't making me do much of one - 3 days is all... I'm considering doing it anyway! Let me know how it goes for you! I wish my pre-op was a little earlier, but ah well.. I have mine the day before since I'm from out of town. Good luc****ep us posted! K
