2 more weeks!!!
My surgery is two weeks from today!!! Aughhhhhh! I am so excited. 
There is a part of me that is scared/nervous but I'm not letting that get the best of me. It's kind of surreal. I have been overweight my entire life and tried (and failed) so many diets that its hard for me to imagine me any other way. We deserve this!! We have the biggest hearts, do the most for others yet we are the ones who get all the points, stares and laughs. I know this journey is not going to be easy but with my determination and the words of encouragement from all you wonderful people it will work! Wish me luck!!

My sentiments exactly, Tanya! My surgery is in 9 days!!!! Did I say 9 days???? OMG! Two different people that I told about the surgery this week at work said something interesting. They said that they were proud of me for having the courage/strength to go through with this. At first I wasn't sure how to take it - but then as I thought about it - it kind of goes along with what you said...we finally have the courage to do something for ourselves - instead of continuing to put others first. Hats off to us!!
