Anyone Feeling like

they are nesting? I an so overwhelmed feeling like I need to get this house perfect and everthing else done before the surgery..............Kitty

haha! Im doing the same thing. Ive been cleaning out my closets, under the bathroom sink... been stocking up on what I need. Makes me feel better to "be prepared". Ive even given some of my "fat clothes" away... you know those clothes you keep one size up then you are now "just in case". woo hoo

Jennifer, Thanks Im glad some one else is out there acting crazy too! I really feel over whelemed with it . But the good side to it will be my house will be prefectfor my family to keep it up nice right? NOT!! The other is I lose weight when I am stressed , Im so buzy Im not really hungry. I am trying hard to eat as if I already had the surgery . Hubby thinks Ive lost at least 20 pounds (I guess Ill keep him!) I have also cleaned out the closet (and attic ) of all fat clothes That was fun ! Even if some thing goes wrong and I cant get my tool , I will not be that size . If I will then I will be naked!! LOL ....................Kitty

Glad to hear I am not the only one!! I have been trying to organize EVERYTHING in my 34 year old life and it is making me CRAZY!! Stuff at home, stuff at work, stuff out in the middle of the street, lol, doesn't matter. I've already started to go thru the clothes that fit me now and bag up the things I don't really like or the stuff like the sweaters that are now out of season. All of my winter clothes are getting bagged and ready to donate because I DO NOT plan on being anywhere near any size in my closet by next winter! Thanks for making me realize, uh, i think, that I'm not crazy! LOL...BTW, my date is June 2nd!! WOO HOO!!

Christine, Wow this June 06 board is great! Im jealous of any one before me ! Good Luck . Its really nice to know most of us are crazy!! I am also over -organizing even at work ! My boss wants everything I do in writing that she could follow if she had to. I am a nurse and having to write down everything in laymans terms is making me crazy!! I swear June 5 Im not going into surgery, im gonna jump off the earth instead!!LOL still glad that we are going thru the same stuff! Thanks for posting to me!!....Kitty

I am glad to hear that others are doing the same! I have been cleaning like crazy, and I have been getting things for afterwards. I think I am driving my DH crazy! He said it is worse than when I was having the kids! I am just so excited and want everything to be ready to go. I have even stocked on groceries for the family for while I am in the hospital and right afterwards. When I talked to the surgeons office today about my preop appointment, she said it is very normal to do this. She laughed and said she hears it alot! Take Care, Dee

Dee, Its nice to hear that your DH is making lite of it ! Mine is ok But I think I am wearing him out! He sees me doing this and that and feels he needs to help me . So of course I encourage help!! Hes taking a nap now! LOL...........Kitty
