Alesia, Odd thing is, I've always had a feeling that I would end up under the knife again for either my intestines or my gall bladder - so I put off the idea of the tummy tuck feeling that the timing just wasn't right for it. I got a price from my ps for a TT at just under 5K if I do just hip to hip (not circumfrential) and financially, I could do that - but I'm reasoning with myself to payoff the arms/chest and wait to see what happens with the rest of my "gutt" before marching in. I think you're right - it's going to end up coming out. It's aggravating. Pre-op I was in the hospital a couple of times with gall bladder issues. ALMOST had it out - got pregnant. Decided to wait. Had a HORRIBLE episode when I was 8 mo preggers. Spent a night in the ER - and in the room with the sonographer twisting me and making me cough real hard to dislodge a huge stone from my bile duct. Ohhhhh that was miserable but thankfully, it got me through that episode. During my pre-op testing - the gall bladder sono was a complete surprise. They couldn't find it. Even with me swallowing all that chalky stuff and going under the MRI thing.... I never had it taken out. So, my RNY surgeon didn't worry about taking it out during my surgery. I knew i would regret that. And here we are. I know it's coming. I think I will see if I can have the TT done at the same time. That would be nice. Hugs, Pam

Lucy, That is great news! It really says a lot about how well you have taken care of yourself and your health that you have healed so nicely. You are doing a GREAT job!! I have no doubt if you just keep doing what you are doing, you are going to continue to heal just fine. Are you happy with your results? I know what you mean about being independent - especially being able to drive yourself again. There's nothing like it. Merry Christmas to you too, Lucy!! Hugs, Pam

DAWN!!!! WOWZA Girl!! You look GREAT! So glad to know you are still around and doing well. Here's some encouragement for you - my sister is almost 2 years post-op and still losing. She has long stalls....then DROPS...still. I haven't tried the new thing yet - maybe I will try it this weekend. I've just grown so attached to my old one... Anyway, I'm no help in that department. Hugs, Pam

Hi Pam, Glad you are feeling better...Maybe you should look into gallbladder removal, it can be done on the bikini line now and maybe you could finagle a panni removal at the same time since its in the same area... Alesia

Good morning everyone! It's been 3 weeks since my lower body lift and thighplasty. Yesterday I finally got out my last drain (out of a total of 5). I am happy to say that none of my incisions opened and no seromas. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I am able to shower again and that felt so good. I still have swelling of my legs and feet. That is one thing that is so hard to accept, even knowing that it is normal. I can drive again and be independent. YAY! I hated being a prisioner in my own home. I pray that my recovery continues on the same path. Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas. I thank everyone for the support and guidance given me on this board. That really helped my recovery. Hugs, Lucy

Don't ask!! Because of my Cipro, I haven't been taking my antacid this week and now my ulcer is back with a vengeance, and of course the only thing my little pouch will accept without trouble is carby stuff like Christmas cookies I have all over the house!!! They are going this weekend to different people and places, so the sooner the better, I am sending a bunch with hubby to work tomorrow! I am back on the antacid tomorrow and hopefully back on the routine. I have to get my iron up for surgery. And the protein too, so I will heal well. Wendy

You look AWESOME girl!!! 20 years younger!! Glad to hear from you. You need to copy and paste your old profile like I did on mine, then you can blog from then on. I copied and pasted to the about me section. That way others can read my story. But you can skip that and just start your blog. Keep in touch and you are definitely not alone in the stuck on the scale dept. We are all fighting to lose a little more or maintain what we are at. I don't feel thin enough even though I will be at goal or close after my plastics. I still feel I could go another 10-15 after that, but everybody else thinks I should quit! Wendy
