Looks a little sparse. I know several months ago it was super active, surprised me to see the low activity now.
I'm 18 months out, and depending on the day I've lost about 191 pounds. I've surpassed my surgeon's goal but I have roughly 15-20 more pounds for my personal goal. I'm tall and very large framed. I will be seeing a PS the end of january for a panniculectomy and a breast reduction/lift/implant depending on what he says. Right now I have empty socks where I used to have mighty cleavage and DH is happy to spend tax return money on a set of breasts. I think I might let him help me pick out which "model" to get (i'm guessing he'd like a pair of the angelina jolie's
)
I'm looking forward to it. My pannus is so small compared to so many others' but I have a skin infection that hasn't healed in 13 months and the skin has become so papery thin that it just tears in places across the stretch marks. That's the only reason why I qualify. I've decided even if I can't get my breasts done now I have GOT to get my belly done. I can always wear a good quality bra, but nothing will help the belly but surgery!
I am in therapy and part of it is working on issues surrounding WLS and the wide ranging implications. Its amazing how it effects every inch of your life as well as your body.

Topic: Viva Las Vegas
Hello Everyone,
I am back from a wonderful relaxing vacation. My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary (a little early its actually in Jan) but we needed to schedule it now because we are both in school in Jan. But anyway we went to a cabin the the North Georgia mountains and then we went to Las Vegas for 6 days. We had a blast. We went to see Phantom of the Opera twice and we saw a Circe de Sole performance called KA. It was wonderful. The hotels there are incredible and we had such a good time just walking around looking at the sites. Neither one of us gambles or drinks so it may seem like an odd choice of a vacation but it was really inexpensive to go there and it was fun. We stayed at the Luxor hotel which is Shaped like a pryamid and we got to meet our kids idol Chriss Angel. I wasn't really very familar with him. He is a magician he has a show on A&E called Mindfreak, but my kids are really into him. Anyway we got to see one of his stunts and then later on we got to meet him and have a picture taken with him and he signed a shirt for my son. Steven was very excited to get an autographed Chriss Angel tee shirt. But all of our kids said it was weird to see a picture of their mom and dad standing with Chriss. We got to go visit the Hoover Dam and the flight back to Georgia the plane had to fly at a lower altitude due to turbulance,but that meant that we flew right over the Grand Canyon and we got a great view of it. All in all it was a great trip. I ate badly and I am having trouble getting back on track. I only got sick twice, once I got something stuck (never had that happen before) that was not pleasent. And the other time, I got brave with the buffet and drank chocolate milk on top of dinner, bad mistake. Well I need to get back on track. I didnt gain any weight but it was a miracle that I didnt. I am having some trouble with my knees so I havent been exercising. Its kinda weird and if anyone has any similar experiance or any input I would appreciate it. I used to have really bad arthritis in my knees before my surgery but I havent had any problems since I lost the weight. Up until a couple of weeks ago I was walking 4-6 miles a day 4 or 5 days a week. But after Thanksgiving coming up on finals. I didnt have time to exercise. But right before I went on vacation. I started having problems with my knees. The kind that I used to have pre-surgery. I still have some celebrex from before but I dont want to take it because of the risk of ulcer. Anyone who has a suggestion I would be grateful. Well, I missed you all and I hope you all had a great holiday.
Hugs
Lynn

Sharyn,
Glad to have you back. I am glad that your computer is fixed. Bravo on training for the half marathon. My knee has been bothering me so I am not doing so well on the exercise front. But I hope to get back to it soon.

Hey Everybody
My laptop has been down for awhile, but my sister just got it back up and running for me. I have missed you all terribly!!
I have gained a few holiday pounds, but I am confident that I will get them all off and more as I begin to train for a 1/2 marathon. - Thanks for the inspiration Kerri! - I'm going to try and run it, but will not be disappointed if I have to walk some, 1/2, or even most of it.
Hope you all are doing well!!
Sharyn
