Go Kerri! I am so inspired by you. I wish I had the energy to move so much. With my iron low, I know why I haven't had the gettyup to excersize! I hope to have that dealt with soon. Can't wait to see the pics! And I am jealous of the weather there too, it was -20 degrees this AM and my kids are home from school because of it! BBBRRRRRRRRR!!!! Wendy

Hey Monica that is great!! I did my first 5K walk when I was over 300 pounds. I did it in just over an hour. I remember the same feeling when I got to walk over the finish line. You did it even with a sprained ankle. Many kudos to you!!! Yes, Kerri is indeed an inspiration to us all. I have never attempted doing a 13 mile walk in one day. YIKES!! That's got to be hard on the feet and joints. Thanks for sharing your inspirating success story! Hugs, Lucy

Hi Monica. I did very well with the first interview. Now I have been called back for the second interview. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. Yep, I am on the mend and now am ready for round 2 of plastic surgery. I should know something by next Wednesday, Valentine's Day! Thanks Lucy

Kerri that is exactly how I felt. I got a little teary when i finally saw the finish line come into view. The ankle is fine just a bit of cramping behind one thigh but I expected that since my legs are two different lengths there is always some challenge. I definitely plan to do more. No stopping me now. Please keep me posted on any coming up expecially for charity. If you get any links please pass then along. Would love to do more. Do you know how to find out your time. I think it took me about an hour but since i started in the third wave and forgot to look at the time when i actually started i would like to see what the official time was. Thanks for the encouragement to move and congrats on your great job yesterday. Monica

YAYYYYYYYYYYY Monica~ Woo HOOOOOOO!!!! I'm so thrilled for you!!! I didn't know about your ankle! Yuck, that must have been painful. Thank goodness the course was pretty flat, huh? I did my first 5K exactly a year ago~ I was in pain after it, but also emotionally overwhelmed at finishing it. Did you feel the same way? Let me know if you decide to do another one, would love to join ya! Bask in the accomplishment today! Hugs, Kerri

Robin I know you may not be where you want to be but remember you are doing great with your loss so far. Everything we go through is normal. But it seems that you have the right idea to get back to basics. You have more power and control then you know. It is my understanding that even if you stretched your pouch (although some don't believe it is possible) as long as you follow the rules you will still lose. My loss have been very strange (120 in 6 months then nothing for 6 months) Then I started losing again. It is slow but al long as when the scale moves it is down I don't mind (151 down to date). I would suggest you focus on what you have done so far and how you got there. Best of luck Monica

I am not a runner but it has been a goal to be a great walker. When Keri (scrappin gal) put out the challenge to us to get moving I accepted it. Yesterday I copleted my first 5k. First of many I hope. It was a little hard because I had sprained my ankle about a week before but I was determined to do it. Thanks to everyone on here that continues to inspire and support me. WOW, another June bug actually here and alive! I was wondering where everyone has been lately. This board is dead, and becoming more dead by the day. Kerri, I am so jealous of your success. Congrats on completing your second half of the marathon. You are such an athete! You are looking mighty fine in your picture! Are you at goal yet? You sure look like you are. I keep struggling with the same pounds, lose and gain! I keep doing that to myself. Ugh! This second year has been a tough one. I'm getting ready to pursue my second round of plastics. I'll know more in a week and a half. I get to see my ps on Valentine's Day. Well, I'm going to be off to a medical staff meeting now. Take care. Hugs, Lucy
