Congratulations Sue ...You've come a long way BABY, keep up the good work...

I've taken a little trip down the sliding slope and put back into the 130's...My surgiversary is motivating me to get back on track and bring it back into my personal zone of under +/-3lbs with a baseline of 125...I hope realistically to be in the range by December 31st...

I still dump to, but not as severly(sp?) as early out and it takes higher quantities of fat and sugar before I do...This is something I need to watch...

I just got an aniversary message.  I can not believe it has been 4 year already!  I have been able to keep all my weight off....so far!  I am down over 200 pounds.  My co-morbids are gone.  I have been diagnosed with MS but that has nothing to do with the surgery.  I am going to have my knee worked on next week....I fell and tore the meniscus (which had been scoped prior to the rny surgery).

I still dump!  I am so grateful that I do!  I still can not eat meat.  I really watch what I eat.  Actually the way I eat has become a habit since the surgery.  I plan on keeping it that way.  It is so easy to fall into bad habits.  I don't want to break them all over again.

My labs still all come back great!

I hope that all of you are doing well.  I think that the thing that I learned most here is that we have a tool....and use it!  Don't abuse it!  We are all human and can easily fall back into old habits......makes us pretty  vulnerable to gaining our weight back......

It has been so great to have a place to go to and know that each and everyone of you understand what I go through.....feels like home!

Happy anniversary all you Junebugs!

Sue/Barberton

Hi Everyone,

I hope some of you are still out there peeking into our page...Remember when this was a major support system for many of us...Now we are 4 yrs out and have moved onto other things, but some of us still need support...I know I do...

Check in say hello, toot your horn about how far you've come, say were you still want to go...For me:

Started at 249lbs
Saw 118 for a hot minute while figuring out maintance
Settled in at 125 +/- 3 lbs for about a year and a half
Gained back to 135 +/- 3lbs, maintaining there since Jan 2008
Want to see 125 +/- 3 again

VERY happy with how far I've come, still paranoid it will all come back, its still a head game for me

Welcome to humpday, we are 1/2way to a long holiday weekend...

I'm feeling lonely out here, the 1st of June our Surgiversary month is just around the corner and it does not look like anyone but me feels the need to report in and talk about their struggles both good and bad - I cannot be alone, is everyone else happy with their progress?? ...Its not that I am not happy about how far I've come, I'm  super pleased with the progress I've made...I reached my docs goal and surpassed to my own personal goal, I've maintained under my docs goal for almost 3 years ( since I reached his goal is about 1 yr )...I would like to be back in the +/- 5 comfort zone of my personal goal, which was 125, its much harder now, I'm not as motiviated to give up the things I've added back into my life yet I still have that voice in my head saying DO IT...So here I am taking account and looking for others to join in to give and take support...

Good Morning, Good Morning !! Is anybody out there, please come out and play with me

It almost Memorial day and the end of yet another month...Ah yes, long weekends, a blessing in disguise for the overworked and underpaid , glad to have one coming this weekend...

Went to my monthly support group meeting last night, it was really good, we had a speaker on exercise, lots of good new info + reminders of stuff I already knew...Our Nut brought samples of ACHIEVE ONE protein RTD, tried alot of flavors, really like the mocha java the best, have been wanting to try this product but unwilling to order by the case and find out I did not like it, so been passing, now that I know I like some flavors I will be getting it again, great stats  @ 80 cals a serv and 15 grams of protein, 5 carbs (I think) and 0 fat + 1 fiber...

B - Starbucks venti nf sf triple gingerbread creme latte

S - 1 lemon cream horn ( TG they are out of the house again  )

S2-  homemade coffeehouse style coffee

L - artichoke garlic and mozz chicken sausage, 1/4 c steamed white rice and 1/2 c sauteed
mushrooms, peppers & onions with a squirt of mustard on the sausage

D - ham & muenster quiche with 1 tbsp artichoke garlic salsa

S - 1/2 serv of achieve one ( via multiple flavor tastings )

Water/crystal light 152oz                    Cals : 1064     Fat : 50     NCarbs : 82     Protein : 68

Carbs TOO high, protein TOO low... I thought I was getting in a decent amount of protein for the day until I put is all in and totaled up

Alesia  5'5"  133lbs...Be back later to check in...
