Topic: My first surgiversary!

Hey All! Today is my first surgiversary! I won't go into the long list of reasons why I'm glad that I had this surgery...sufice it to say I am happy beyond words!! I've had a few bumps in the road (GB and internal hernia repair in January), but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. It is so awesome to be wearing a size 6 and to feel normal for the first time ever...to walk into the room and not be the biggest person there...opps...I started the list! Anyway, I'm thrilled with the new me and I want to encourage any of you who are pre-op to follow your heart with the decision, and follow the rules afterwards!! I'll post my one year pics tomorrow! Today is my big day............ I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity.

I feel blessed to have lost over 100lbs.

Man, from a 28/30 to a size 16?? I'm on easy street.............. Thank God! I feel a shopping stop on my way home today! I wish all of you continued happiness in all you set out to do. Many Blessings, Renee'

Just thought I would say that it is a lovely day here in eastern Michigan and I am going to the State capital to the zoo with my 3 boys. Taking a picnic and the sunscreen and of course the camera! What are you all doing on this glorious day? Wendy

Lisa, glad to hear that you had a great time with your kids. I can relate to fitting into the rides and such. Sorry to hear that you got sick with eating the lettuce on the taco. I have no problem eating salad. In fact, I can consume more in salads than solid foods. For me, a good sized salad with some chicken in it is a satisfying lunch. Take care, Lucy
