Happy 1 year to me and all my fellow Junebugs!!!!!!! It has been such a year. I am and have been complication free Thanks to god and am down approx 115 lbs. I have gone from a womens 24 to a 10/12 and have gained more than I would ever begin to express in words. Check out my profile to see some 1 yr pics that I had my son take of me. The difference is apparent in not only my apperance. There are some under 6/21/06 and also all the way at the bottom are updated before and after pics Hope all is well with you all. Blessings Ms JoAnn

I almost forgot to post... well I remember the day I knew I HAD to do something, 4-8-05 I got on the scale and weighed 399. I did not want to hit 400 and knew if I didn't do something drastic, I'd be 500 in no time... I immediately started dieting and actually got down to 355 before my surgery. I, however, gained 10 lbs in the hospital, so leaving the hospital I weighed 365. Total I've lost 164 since April last year, and 130 since surgery. I believe the tool is still working, it is my head that is screwed up at times. I go for my year check up today. The last time I went the doctor he said it would be hard work from here on. And it is. I still tell all people considering this, that it is an individual decision. I would recommend it, but I don't to people who are not ready to put forth the effort, dedication, and work. I wish I had done it a long time prior... it would have saved me many years of obesity related illness. Overall, I am very happy with the results! I never thought I'd ever see 235 again, much less have a chance to continue losing.

Sorry to hear that Dawn. Yes, I am glad I pressed on. It was extremely frustrating, especially when you are trying. I hope things turn around for you, and that we all continue to do well.

Hi Kerri, Thanks so much for your kind words! There was actually a report a couple of months back how Splenda cause gastro intestanal* (spelling) problems. After doing some very unscientific testing at home, I came to realize that it totally hurts my belly! IT STINKS!!! I have to be very careful about anything marked sugar free!! Again, thank you for everything! Ilyssa
