My proteins of choice are chicken, turkey, shrimp, salmon and tuna (canned only i'm allergic to fresh. Its important to me to vary how i cook or prepare the meat so i don't get bored or groassed out because I can get sick of meat really quickly. You can email me if you need more specific dishes. Dawn I have discovered soy beans (edamame). For a half cup serving: 100 calories, fat-3, carbs.-9, protein-8. If you can find the ones without the pod great but if not just shell them when they are cooked. Takes a little longer but it is worth it. You will be surprised how big a serving 1/2 cup is. Hope this helps.
