well, when i was working sometimes i got a sandwich for lunch. i would take off the crust, eat 1/2 and then eat the ham off the other 1/2. i RARELY eat bread, but once in a while i will grab 1/2 peanut butter sandwich and that usually satisfies me. i don't know what it is, but bread fills me up wayyyyyy fast! by the way, your sandwich sounds so yummy! make me a 1/2 please? hugssssssss

Okay, I'm curious here. Sometimes, I find that I can eat an entire sandwich....other times only 1/2 a sandwich. It's kinda freakin' me out. Am I eating too much? Here's what I mean by a "sandwich" 2 slices of low carb whole wheat bread deli turkey slice of cheese tomato slices onion slices lettuce spicey mustard little mayo POLL QUESTION: How much of a sandwich can you eat this far out?????

Topic: RE: Weird comments!
Oh people.. especially the nosey nellies can be so fun. When my husband and i were trying to conceive with no luck we had many nosey people in our face asking embarassing questions and things that just hurt our feelings cause we were trying so hard. My favorite response when they would ask if we were trying to have kids.. i would smile really big and wiggle my eyebrows and say, "We try every chance we get!" I have just tried to take the weird hurtfull odd comments in stride and try to come up with equally stupid responses to make the day more fun. Paula

Topic: RE: Loose Skin---Is this a myth or not?
This question i think is going to very from person to person so much. I think the amount of weight you lost, the times you have lost it, the amount of years you carried it, age and a persons natural skin conditions is going to all be a variable. What might be true for one, another may laugh at. I have been told by doctors (not plastic surgeons) that our muscles and our skin have a memory. And the longer it has had to hold a certain shape the harder it is for it to change shapes. THe thing about working out is it will tone up the muscles and work on the muscles... but in many cases this just helps us to lose more inches and the skin looks even more eggagerated and loser on the body. Skin is a living organ but because of the elascticity involved and that it does not receive as much blood flow as the other organs it is not as pliable. The blood saturation of the internal organs helps them to change and reshape easier. Skin is sadly not in the same catagory as our other organs. But that is of course just in my opinion from my research. Over time it will continue to shrink... but with the stretch marks that will more that likely be there it will not be the same no matter how long. Let us look at a baloon once it is blown up. One it is deflated you can still see the strecth mark lines on the baloon and that is what keeps it bigger. Our stretch marks are in essense tiny tiny scars.. and that tissue is tougher and a complelty different texture. Every where there is even a harline stretch mark it is still a bit larger... now one stretch mark wont make us bigger.. but i have many many more than that. LOL

Topic: RE: WHAT TO EAT???
Hey Dawn! I had another idea! I was thinking about cheese sticks today. I eat 2 of those Sargento Light mozzarella cheese sticks. Each has 50 calories, 2 g. fat and 6 g. protein. I usually have these for breakfast prior to a latte (skim milk - another 12 or so grams protein). Good luck! Yours in 165 pounds down, Jen
