The scale will move for you soon, especially now that you got your tummy problems uner control. Sometimes I think this is just where my body wants to stay. It seems like no matter what I do, more protein, less calories or more calories and less carbs the scale doesnt want to budge. I have really upped my exercise. I went from doing 2 miles a day 5 days to doing 4 to 6, 5 or 6 days. I am training for a 10k on labor day. You would think that that would make the scale move but no luck so far. Oh well, such is life at least my heart is getting a good workout. I hope you have a good daycare day. My daughter is keeping my kids for half the day. So I get a little time off. Yea!!!

Good luck Lynn!! We're here for you. I hate it that it is so easy to pop something into my mouth. I wish my mouth had a time delay lock on it.
Topic: RE: Only 13 lbs to go!!
Congrats laural
I'm still fighting for the last 20 lbs. I was thinking that I need to increase my calories. I'm usually between 1000-1100, but I'm training pretty hard and have started jogging. It's hard to know where I should be. I might have to email my nutritionist and see what's up.

Paula,
Thanks for the tip, maybe I will try that. So far so good. I have made it through three days now. I keep trying. That is too funny about the cookies. My kids would be the same way. I have 4 four year olds this year and they are all very observant. Thanks for the advice.

Hi Lucy
I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble. I hope you will be feeling great soon. Since I'm getting my hernia fixed, I'm now wondering if I should have an u/s done to check out my gallbladder just to make sure some of my pain isn't associated with the gall bladder. So if nothing else, your post is helping me. Thanks for posting.

YEAH LYNN well said about the alocholic in a bar...and how we handle and serve tempting foods all day to the little ones in our care.
I try my best but i make slips what can i do such is life. SCALE wont move for me
and is sooo stuck at 167. As for my ulcer symptoms i really didnt realize the symptoms
before till i threw up some not so good colored stuff. BUT looking back when my
pouch was empty and foodless i had icky pain in my side which was proly the early warning sign. BUT i learned to feed and coat that to make it better.

relate to your dilemas!

Enlist the kids help. Tell them you are not suppoe to eat certian things.. and if they catch you they get to put you in time out or some littel punishment they can do to you. You will be amazed at how much they will watch you and they will think it is fun to police you for a change. IF nothing else it will be a fun experiemnt and help you to realize the times and certain things you know you will snack on. I tell the kids they are allowed to steal cookies form me when i have them.. they think it is a hoot and they will even ask me if i want a cookie cause they want to steal it.

Topic: RE: Had Emergency Surgery Last Thursday
Oh honey i am glad you are well. It is a two edged sword. On one hand all the pain and ER visits.. but yet a renewed pouch is nice. Glad you are well and the pain will soon be all taken care of with one more surgery. And a tummy tuck to boot.. good for you!
