Hi Sandy! Congrats on your upcoming anniversary. I've had a horrible 3rd year. I ate my way back up 90 pounds. I just had lapband surgery on May 15th as suggested by my surgeon. I have my first fill on Thursday. I've learned my lesson and now will work the tool everyday. I was happiest when I was at 158 pounds. I know I will get there again. I've been through so much, a lot of emotional issues both at work and home. I started dating last year and that added to my stress eating. My experience with men has been not good to say the least. Even being thin doesn't guarantee finding a good man. That was hard for me to accept. I am a fighter though. I never give up! Lucy

Hi Shelley. I, too have had a regain. I gained 90 pounds due to grazing and eating too much at mealtime. I was eating all the foods I ate before my WLS. I also got so depressed I was put on Cymbalta at Christmas time. Now I have my depression controlled. I had a lap band put in on May 15th and am having my first fill on Thursday this week. My surgeon felt that since I was eating way too much at mealtime, the band would help with giving me back my restriction feeling. I have to work on the grazing though. I felt so bad as how could I let myself go after all I accomplished. Of course, I feel so ashamed of my behaviors. But, I have to start somewhere and here I am. I'd be happy to be your support and you mine, if you like. We could check in here daily. I got down to 158 at my lowest and felt the best. I know that I can do it! We can do it!! Hugs, Lucy

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try it. I still have 50 pounds to go, but I have to say my breasts are not as flat as they were after the surgery. I just wish my insurance would cover getting rid of these arms and thighs. It looks awful. Best to you with you challenge. WE CAN DO IT AND I WILL NOT GIVE UP. Thanks

Just checking in to see how things are going with you and your weight loss. I found that after I give myself the B-12 show and get my protein up, I loss weight. I guess I need to make sure I stay on that combination. Best to you

I feel you Carolyn. I too have gained and could use all the help I can get too! I still need about 70 pounds to get to my final goal. I pray I can do it this time. As far as iron supplements, have you tried the Slo FE? That's what my dr suggested for me and what I have continued to use. Hugs, Shelley NEVER GIVE UP! WE CAN DO IT!
