Sorry for the delayed answer, but I've not been checking in as often anymore. I had the same kinds of symptoms, and the doctor checked the blood work and told me to up the B-complex to 2x per day and double my fluid intake. Two weeks later, I am feeling great. The cloudy head, can't hold a thought long enough to get it out in an intelligent sounding manner thing was the worst part! You'll "excrete" any extra B's, so as long as my urine is bright yellow (from the supplement), the doc says I'm doing fine. I'm taking in almost 100 ounces of fluids a day, but it's also over 100 degrees here most days, with the heat index. Take care, and hope you start feeling better. Kristie

Thanks Deb, I don't think they did the test before wls, but I don't know. Maybe they did and I was negative at the time. Thanks for the info on the scope, I am nervous a little, but the doc doing it is very experienced with wls patients. Wendy

Hi Wendy, Did they do the H.Pylori test before your wls? Our surgeon's office and most ins carriers require it. Unfortunately they cannot scope your stomach or duodenum any longer as that has all been bypassed. But they can check to see if it is in your pouch. Endoscopy is pretty easy. I have had four since wls because of strictures and it was done with good drugs on board. Good thing they found the nasty little bug as it is usually the cause of most ulcers. Good luck and I hope you get rid of it quickly and without any problems. All my best, Deb

Hi Kerri. Boy do I ever understand what you've been going through... with allowing myself to eat. I was getting into trouble before I had my emergency surgery. This was a blessing in disguise! The weight loss was dwindling down and I was getting depressed about it.. The scale wouldn't move and I wanted to eat and eat. Wishing you a Belated Happy Birthday WOW, you're training for a marathon!! You go!! I'm going to do the September Walk Against Obesity scheduled for September 30th. Summer's almost gone, how sad! I'm not off during the summer but love the warm weather. Just think, last year we were so cold in the winter, how cold are we going to be this year!! Good luck with the adoption efforts and pregnancy. I'm planning on doing the bottom half from the waist down - tummy, legs and bottom. This will be the most painful surgery. I will also have my mesh inserted for my hernia repair. He couldn't do it last month because the mesh would have got infected and have to be removed anyway. My job! Yikes, that's a tough one. I'm going to try and work it out at least until I have the first go around with plastics (unless another job opportunity arises). Thanks for the update!! Hugs, Lucy
