Okay, I won't say that i'm doing "perfect" .... but i am trying.... So here's a dose of accountability.... Yesterday: Venti Sugar Free Decaff Vanilla latte - 20g protein 3 Protein balls - 10.5g protein Lean cuisine (chicken/veggies) - 19g protein 3 Protein balls - 10.5 g protein Banana 3 Protein balls - 10.5 g protein mandarin orange cup Venti Sugar Free Decaff Vanilla Latte - 20g protein Lots and lots of Crystal Light Rasberry lemonade (YUMMY!!!) 90 Grams of protein!!! It's not a 120...but it's better.... I love the protein balls! NINE in one day may be overkill though... **************************************************** TODAY (not so good - running around to kids schools and school shopping) Venti Triple Decaff Sugar Free Vanilla Latte - 20g protein An almond biscotti (darn it) Venti Triple Decaff Sugar Free Vanilla Latte - 20g protein An almond biscotti (darn it) - yes, I did this TWICE today A fruit cup from chick-fil-a up to about 900 calories so far...and only 40g protein.... I've got chicken in the crockpot (with salsa, taco sauce, black beans, corn, cream of chicken soup) - gonna shred the chicken and put it over top some refried beans for dinner. Actually, it's early enough - I should have a snack of chicken before I take my son to his appt and then have dinner when I get back a few hours later. That way i get two servings of chicken in....maybe another 40g protein. How's everyone else doin???? Hugs, Pam I'm saving the rest of the protein balls for breakfast/work snacks for the rest of this week. They really saved me from hitting junk yesterday.

Wow Lucy! Congrats on your loss! That is great news! *ahem* "Hi my name is Pam and I'm a shopaholic" I've been bit by the clothes shopping bug too! I have to FORCE myself to stay away from the clothing stores because I am so addicted. I just hope I can still wear all this stuff next summer! I'm trying to hold out until the end of Sept or October to buy some more clothes...and already planning a post-Christmas shopping spree. I just got an Ab lounge - been giving that a try. I'm paying for a gym membership - maybe I should go? Good luck with the plastics research and journey! Go with who you are most comfortable with. Ask about touch-ups - are they done at no cost to you? or do you have to pay for another surgery? You want a surgeon who stands behind his work. I was surprised to see how many surgeons DON'T stand behind their work. Hugs, Pam

Boy Pam that sounds like me. I haven't gained any weight but my belly is not flat anymore not real big but pokes out more than I want it too. My surgeon told me it was lack of muscle so I am going to start a new excersice. I thank you for that protein ball recipe can't wait to try it. Good luck. I am going back to eating what I did at a year out. I was really doing good then. I sure don't want to get back into my old habits, I worked to hard to do that. When the doctor raised my calorie intake I kinda ate the wrong things to get it all in and well you know what then................That stops today!!!!!! Back to counting carbs, fats, etc..... Good Luck to you and you are not alone in the to much eating dept. You look great by the way. Hugz, Deloris

Good mornng Wendy! Yeah, I miss everyone on this board. Perhaps some are on vacation prior to the opening of school. I'm happy to hear that you're feeling better. Nothing's worse than feeling and being sick. I'd rather have a bad day at work. At least I can leave it and come home! I'm definitely a clothes addict, but now I'm trying to get a handle on it because I know that with the next phase of my WLS journey, my sizes are going to fluctuate so much that it is not worth spending so much money until I start to slow way down. My winter wardrobe will mostly be my final change in my size in clothes. Definitely next summer will be purchasing clothes for my WLS maintenance. So I have to be very picky and particular in my clothes purchases. I used to buy anything if it fits. Now I don't have to do that anymore. There's so much out there and pretty vibrant colors.... I love to accessorize too. I need more closets!! I'm going to ask a lot of questions when I see my surgeon on Thursday. I probably will get at least a second opinion - see at least two plastic surgeons. Pricing will probably be an issue, but I have a home equity loan that I can tap into. I know that I can't keep all the excess skin. It is getting in the way! Thanks for your response! Yes, where are all the Junebugs? Hope they're having a fun time... Have a wonderful day! Hey Lucy! That is really great about the clothes, I am a clothes addict now! I know more surgery for you will be hard, but if you need the lift, then you need the lift. I'm sure you will know when the time is right. I see the plastic surgeon on Sept. 6th to find out what I can have done and what I can afford. As for the food thing. I am so right there with you. I left 3rd shift last night and the last thing I smelled was fresh donuts!!!!!! All I wanted to do was run to Tim Horton's and eat donuts!! But I didn't! My stomach is sooooo much better now! The antibiotics are really kicking in and I am starting to get some energy back. Now if over the next few days I can get myself back to the gym it would be great. Good idea you and Pam have about checking in here. I noticed how slow the board is this summer. I hope this is not a permanent trend. I hope all of our junies keep posting somewhat regular. I think about you all and you have been so important to me in this thing. Wendy
