Hi Andrea I have a confession to make. I have never done more than about 3-5 days of the plateau buster. I loose a few lbs and jump off. But, after that, I keep my carbs under 20 per meal & 50 per day and protein over 100 gms. Good luck Sharyn

OMG Wendy - I have been grazing on M&Ms too - scarlet & gray ones. I'm glad you're healed up and I'm sure that the weight loss will come. If not, there's always the plateau buster. Good luck! Sharyn

Wendy, The jerky is a great thing right.. I love that stuff but the damn salt is killer. Well that does not stop me from eating it. Yeah I know the feeling of the ups and downs AND the not moving numbers. Well hell yeah I am sexy.. ...though I still get to sit by the computer!! take care Debra P

Andrea, Hello hun ~Hugs~ Let me start by saying I think I will take that off my website, I did so much thinking about this diet. I was on it for about 4 days and lost about 4.5 lbs BUT on the 5th day I has a bad carb...WELLLLL I gained it all back with the exception of 1 lbs.. I come to the conclusion that we just have to eat as we would (low carb as best as we can) change the one thing that can still help us and that is the exercise!!! I myself have made that a goal of mine now....at least getting the walks in 3 times a week to start! I am not saying to not do the diet hun but as other diets we went on, once you come off it will come back and then some.. We have to find a place that our bodies will be ok with (weight wise) and really work with that. Does that make sense hun? I still want to stick with the lowest carb I can do but cutting veggies and fruits is not good for us nor is it healthy eating. I hope I did not scare you but I wanted to share my view of this buster diet.... Please keep me posted hun and it was so good to see ya... Debra P

Welcome back Andrea! Let us know how you do on the plateau buster, if you decide to do it. 10 days isn't sooo bad~ just think...we did longer than that just on clear liquids at the beginning of this journey. Keep coming back to give, and to receive, support. That's what we're here for! Congratulations on your 110 lbs. That's fantastic! You should be very proud of yourself. Take care, Kerri

How did your 2 miles go last night? Were they brutal? I think it's a wonderful idea to take your son with you. I'm challenging my students to "walk across America"~ as a class we're trying to do 2,300 miles which is from the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic during the school year. As an incentive for each kid, they get to earn color shoelaces for each highlight~ 25 miles they get blue, at 50 they get gold, etc. These seem to be quite a motivator. This is the first year I'm trying this, so we'll see how it goes. I'm sure you've been an absolute inspiration to your family! Hang in there and don't give up. You don't have to walk a bunch of 5K's to get to Onederland. Just a little bit each day. I do them because the competitive juices kick in for me, and unless I have some type of goal, I flake out. Hugs, Kerri

Yeah Lynn it is frustrating. I haven't had a month this bad. I really wanted to lose more, but I think unless I am willing to start up the 5k's with Kerri I will not make it!! wendy

Hi all, I have been away from the board for way to long. I am at the same place as most everyone else is. I have lost about 110 lbs andam about 8 lbs from doctors goal, but 28 from mine. the scale hasnt moved in about 2 months. I feel great but still feel fat. Iam having a hard time with carbs (they seem to go down so easy), not drinking enough water and not exersicing as I should. I want to do the plateau buster diet but afraid I will fail at it. !0 days sounds so long . I know that I need to do it and just take it one day at a time. Debra looks so great and she has really given me the insiration to do this. I also know that I need to get on this board more regularly for support. Keep up the good work everyone . We really are all wonderful losers. Andrea
