Hi Lucy, This is Alesia, I'm still out here ...I've always been pretty much of a lurker, with a few responses here and there...Also I've notice alot of Junies on the WLS grad board, especially Mary Jo... I know you are excited about your plastics...I really started to feel "thin" after I had my panni removed in May...Its amazing how matching the scale # and body without the extra skin works on the mental ability to finally "see" the new me...I too still am struggling with emotional eating and think this will be my ongoing challange with maintaining the loss...I'm working constantly on the mental challanges, I am determined to never see the fat me again... Good luck to you, will keep posting once and a while just to touch base... Alesia

OK, I know that we all have a life and are busy but I miss hearing from you! Even if you don't have much or anything to say, please acknowledge your presence here!!! You are missed! I for one have been struggling with emotional eating. So far, I've gotten myself back on track and it feels so good I'm so close to my goal that I don't want to blow it! My news is that I'm preparing myself for my upcoming plastic surgery on November 29th and am anxiously waiting for the day... only 56 days away! YAY!!! People have told me that they wouldn't recognize me on the street. Hey, I don't recognize myself either when I see myself in the mirror or a reflection in the glass That's my update. I'm here and going strong! Shopping is way to much fun and costly. Take care! Hugs, Lucy

Hi Wendy! Yes, the board has been so quiet lately. I wonder what happened to all of our fellow Junebugs? Where are they and what happened?? I'm sorry to hear about your ulcer and bladder/uterus problems. The insurance company and approvals are a pain in the butt. I haven't heard yet whether or not the insurance company will cover any part of my plastic surgeries. Oh, well! I hope that you keep up the faith! It will all work out in the end for you. I'm starting to plan and organize what needs to be done before my plastic surgery day. There's so much to do and so little time! Plus, working every Sunday and holiday until then is getting to me. At least I can say is that I got my eating under control for now. I have to be my best both physically and emotionally for this surgery! Take care my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Hugs, Lucy

Wendy I am sorry to hear that you are having stomach trouble. Hopefully it will be a quick fix for you. The only thing I have seen a plastic surgeon for was my breast lift and reduction. My insurance didnt approve it. I figured they wouldnt and so did the surgeon. I dont have enough to take off to satisfy them. I guess they want us all to look like boys instead of girls..lol..Good luck with your insurance. They seem to approve TT more than other surgeries. I think once winter arrives more people will start to post more often. We seem to have more time on our hands once we are couped up in the house. Take care, Carla

Hi Wendy, The pain I have also is when I lift my arms frontward and up. I had the physical theraphy also. I had to stop after the shot though to let the shot take affect. I am very curious now if this has something to do with the surgery. I will have to check into it further. Carla

Hi Wendy~ I hope you will give your insurance company a run for their money! I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with your tummy. It's possible that you have an ulcer- it seems like it's a pretty common problem. My prayers will be with you. I know that you'll hit Onederland any day now. Hugs, Kerri

Hey Wendy, Sorry to hear about your tummy problems. They can't do the tuck when they do the hernia repair? They did mine together and that way it was all paid for by insurance. Hope it all works out for you. Good luck on all the surgeries. You will get to Onederland just have to have faith. The board has been quiet. I read but don't post much anymore. I use to sit around the house and do nothing but computer now I am out and about. I still lose and gain but I stay in the 140 to 150 range all the time. Well I did drop below at one point but just upped my calories and my wieght came back up. That showed me that I could gain if I get out of control. So I watch it really well. I will pray all goes well for you. You are a doll. You have done so well and your can really see the difference in your face. You are very pretty. Keep up the hard work and you will succeed. Hugs Deloris

Isn't that a song? I am certainly going to have an interesting few months coming up. Fighting the insurance company now on the tummy tuck, is no fun, but eventually I think they will see things my way! Went to the gyn's office yesterday and just as I suspected, my boobs are not the only things going south! I have to go in for surgery to tack up my bladder and uterus! Yuck! He says that all the previous weight pushed it down and I will continue to have bladder infections if I don't go have the ligaments shortened. The good news is that if I have it done before my hernia repair, they can do it laparascopically. I will have my scope next week for my stomach, which is a good thing, because this weekend my stomach started hurting again really badly when I eat. I think I have an ulcer. However, I have started losing again and hopefully will eventually reach Onederland! I am now at 204.5 as of this AM! Yeah! Hope it continues and I get there soon! I miss you all, it is so quiet on our board now, I wonder what everyone is doing that hasn't posted in awhile. Wendy

Hey Carla! Glad to hear from you! I too have shoulder problems. I had to have physical therapy from it and found that if I don't use them regularly they get worse! I have the most trouble with them at night if I put my arms over my head they wake me up from the pain. Sounds like everything else is going good for you though and I am glad to hear it! Don't wait so long for your next post! Wendy

Hi everyone, Sorry its been so long since I have posted. Its hard to believe summer is over and the snow will be back soon. I had a great summer. I just got back from a short trip to Boston to visit my sister and her family. A new addition to her family arrived two months ago so I wanted to see the baby. Savannah Lynn. She is adorable. I wish they lived closer. I have reached my goal of 140 and actually lost 2 more than that. I dont really want to lose any more so I try to eat more. I dont want to gain either so I still weigh myself once every week or every other week to keep track. The smallest jeans I have bought are a 2, but for the most part I am in a size 3-4 and a small or medium top. I love buying clothes now. I kinda get a little carried away and have to stop myself. I feel great most of the time, but I have had some stomach trouble. A few months ago. I had a CT scan and an endoscopy. My surgeon found that my stomach was very irritated and I had a hard ball of food lodged in my pouch where it should not have been. He cleaned that out and gave me a liguid medication used for ulders to settle it down and now its fine. I have also missed some work because my shoulders have been terrible. I have pain in them to the point I can barely move them. It goes into my collarbone also. I had a cortazone shot last week and it helped, but didnt get rid of it totally. I have to go back for an MRI soon and I hope that finally gets to the bottom of it. Has anyone else experienced any of this. I worry that with the fast weight loss that my muscles are not what they should be. I get on and read posts as often as I can. It seems that they have slowed down somewhat. I hope everyone is doing great and enjoying our wonderful new bodies. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Carla
