Thanks for sharing. I was really surprised about what you said about your GYN visit. I have been having all kinds of gyno type issues. I have been having reoccuring bladder infections. I have also been having painful sex. I wonder if I have some of the similar issues with my bladder.
What tests did you have done to determine this?
Topic: Oprah is bashing WLS today!
Ok...I always have been a big supporter of Oprah, but today the total focus of her show is on bashing WLS.
Does this make anyone else mad!!! She is saying that people that have WLS are not dealing with the true issues and they will turn to other addictions.
Ok....this may be true for some, but what about all of the others leading a healthy life! I am so pissed! I think we should all write in and tell her how we feel about it!

Hi Monica! Thanks for your response and congratulations.
I've been at this weight loss journey for most of my life, always a failure! To see some control over it, is a miracle. I thank God for my surgeon and tool. I realize that it is me who has to make the lifestyle changes. No one can do it for me. I'm always going to have the disease, but I will have control over it. I will not let myself regain a lot of weight. I will be watching my weight like a hawk.
I never want to go back to my previous lifestyle. The only way I can achieve that is by being vigilant with watching the scale.
If I could do this, YOU definitely can. We are all in this together as family!

It is spread by not washing hands or intimate oral contact. But you can get it at restaurants etc. I do not know when I actually contracted it. But I will tell you that I feel much better now. It is a simple blood test.

Lucy you have so inspired me to get my butt in gear. I have had my share of issues includeing 6 months of no weight loss. But i think at the end of the day you are proof that this works as well as you work it. Coming from the numbers you had and seeing what you could achieve i know i can achieve it too. thanks for being here and sharing this. Congrats

Kerri what an awesome acheivement for you. Congrats One of my goals for this year was to walk a 5k. Didn't get there but I do plan to start my walking training after next weekend when time changes and it light in the morning when i like to work out.

Thanks to everybody for replying so quickly. I'm fine when I'm eating, it is usually a short time to an hr afterward that I get this heartburn feeling. How do you get H pylori? I'm pretty sure I was tested before the surgery and all was well then.
