I did crappy again!! 1 yogurt with strawberries added and 1 scoop protein powder. chinese food- threw it up (not on purpose-overate) 2 pumpkin spice 24 oz cappucinos 3 chicken nuggets and some broccoli soup 2 oz. cheez its 1/2 snickers bar and 1 bottle of water. That is for yesterday. So far today I have had: 1 cup of 75% less sugar cocoa puffs with milk 1 chocolate mint 24oz cuppacino. This is an addiction to the cuppacinos!!! They are NOT sugar free either. I do mix in regular coffee though to thin it out, but still- BAD BAD BAD!! I am going to concentrate on the protein and water the rest of the day. I am concerned over my protein levels before surgery on the 15th of Nov. Wendy

Hi Wendy. It would be great to have you on the cruise. We'd have a blast! I think our difficult times will pass soon. Yesterday was a better day for me. I wasn't a 100% perfect, but around 90%. Today, I'm shooting for the 100%. Hang in there! We Junebugs are tough. We'll weather this storm and get through it with success. I wish you luck today and always. Hugs, Lucy

Pam, I love your new picture!!! You look so happy. In the other one, you looked sad. I love turkey too. My mom is doing Thanksgiving this year and it's just before my plastic surgery. I'm going to enjoy it and also have a piece of her homemade cheesecake. I like to eat leftover turkey with spicy mustard as it is, or it's good on an open-faced sandwich. It's good to add in chili or soup. I don't nuke it because it gets rubbery. Probably would be good in a pita pocket with some onion and tomatoes. Hugs, Lucy

Thanks Lucy! This is the hardest time I have had since surgery. I realize that being tall means that I don't need to be 150 lbs, but I did want to be at least at my normal bmi by now!! It has been very tough balancing all the things that I need to do to get there, and excersize... forget it! I am soooooo bad about that. I know it is the one thing that would get me losing again, and yet I have no motivation to do it!! I don't seem to crave what I ate before surgery, but I don't eat well. Still want carbs, but not the fast food. I seem to want to eat chocolate, which I NEVER wanted before surgery. I always wanted cheeseburgers and fries or chips. I really have been bad with the cuppacino lately. Our gas stations around here have a pumpkin spice cuppacino that is to DIE for and it is nothing but empty calories. I have been drinking about 2 of those a day!! Well I agree with you Lucy that we need to get back to basics, but as my ulcer heals so does my appetite!! I started out with my protein and water this after noon when I woke up from 3rd shift. Wish me luck with the rest of the day!! I wish I was going to Hawaii with you, what a great trip that will be!! Thanks for the details Pam! I have body issues too, so it is good to know I am not alone in this thing! I can't decide what I want most besides my tt. Ron (my hubby) does not want me to do anything more. He is satisfied with how I look, but I hate it when he looks at me. All I see is wrinkly saggy skin, but he seems to look right through it! I guess I should be happy that he is oblivious to it, but I keep thinking deep down inside that he is lying to himself!! I know he means what he says, because he is such an honest person, but I can't help feeling that way. I don't think your face looks saggy at all!!!! I think you are doing what I am doing and obsessing so much on what we look like that every wrinkle is magnified by about 300!! I would like to have the arms done and the boobs, but now the money thing is really tight and I guess if I did do it, then it would be a couple of years anyhow. Yours look really good. I hate how my arm skin bunches up and looks goofy when I am wearing anything short sleeve. Lets make a pact to really pack the money away! Maybe save enough for a trip together somewhere in a couple of years!! That would be a hoot. Wendy

Pam you look great!!! I don't think you look too skinny at all! I think people who know you worry about you because they love you. People are always telling me I shouldn't lose anymore weight and I am still over 200! I think people like things to not change too much and it is hard for them to not have control over what changes. I think you look perfect. Wendy

When the turkey's are on sale!! Hee hee - You know I have a big family to feed, so when the turkey's are on sale and THAWED - YEEE HAWW Y'all! So I got a big ole bird in the oven... We should have lots of leftovers. I usually bag up the amount it takes for a meal (recipe) and freeze them. Then I pull them out as I need them. Anyone have any favorite leftover (pouch friendly moist) turkey ideas?????? I think I might get a turkey a weekend and stock up! (That is, if I can find them thawed and NOT frozen). Hugs, Pam
