My rebirthday party

I wanted to share with you what I have been thinking of doing for my rebirthday(anniversary of my surgery). I never really do a birthday party but this year I really wanted to celebrate my rebirthday June 7th. So as I was pondering it. I decided I am going to have a spa party and invite all my girlfriends(my husband was sad he wasnt invited) anyway. I am going to do it at my sisters house, she has a built in pool and a screened pool house. I want to print out my pictures that I have taken every month on my surgery date so that I can see all the changes. I think we will do home spa treatments, pedicures, manicures, facial, float in the pool. I want to have little fruit drinks with the umbrellas and some yummy, healthy food. In short I really want to celebrate the new me. It has been such an awesome year and transformation for me. I want to share it with all my friends. Ok, thats what I am thinking, if you have any ideas for my spa party let me know. Now, its your turn, what are you planning for your rebirthday? Lynn

What a great idea!!! If you want some cheap products to do in bulk... buy kosher salt and mix it with a mild oil... safflower, olive oil, even a cheap cooking.vegetable oil... mix it with some fragrance oil of your liking and put it with the kosher salt and mix it up good. it will make a great scrub and it will be cheap enough that you can do it all over your body for everyone. If you don't want to oil feel do the same kosher salt with a body wash. You won't get the oily feel but you will get a great exfoliation. It will do the same as the really expensive stuff but be cheaper and ca do more bodies.

WOW LYNN!!! TOO cool to have such a party. I never gave thought to doing something for me that day. KNOWING me i wont it will just be another day as usual with work and my 3 kids. THIS is something my therapist has me working on...doing "ME"things". THANKS for shareing and wish i lived closer i would come enjoy the spa party with you! ((HUG))

Thanks, Lisa I wish you could come also. I wish all my fellow junebugs could come. I am so excited about this. I hope that you do something special for yourself. You deserve it. Not only have you accomplished great things this year, but you are an all around special person. You give so much to others, I can tell from the responses that you give to us all here on the board that you care deeply for others. And from one fellow daycare mom to another, when you take care of children all day you give a lot of yourself. So keep thinking and dreaming and come up with something special just for Lisa.
