Last week AWFUL stuff!

Last weekend my husband and i went through some horrible stuff with the children we are trying to adopt. A neighbor who has hated us for quite some time started very malicious and untrue things about us. It turned very ugly and into an emotional weekend... could you believe.. i didn't turn to food? I actually hoped on my bicycle and went for a 6 mile bike ride as fast as i could to try and burn off some of the stress. You have no idea how proud i was for not turning to good old food. It made me think that maybe i had a chance at turning my old habits around. YEAH!!! On a positive twist all is well now, we were proved right and the children's parents have actually signed over their parental rights. So we are just a court date away from adopting all 5 children. So we are holding our breath and crossing our fingers and toes that all continues to go well and no one changes their mind.
